“Price was reasonable and I opted for the free next day delivery option - unfortunately the tool didn't arrive and no information from PTW. I contacted them and they responded with a generic email; "Due to the high volume of orders currently, we are getting orders out as quickly as possible, but some are delayed or awaiting urgent stock from our external bulk warehouse". I replied stating that I needed the tool before the weekend for a job, and their customer service agent Dan was able to sort it out to source and deliver one the following day (Friday) so nobody was at a loss. Not sure what's going on but I would expect proactive communication for delivery delays - and then one was sourced immediately anyway. Just a shame I had to get in touch to organise what was offered at the checkout.”

“I have got to say A FIRST CLASS COMPANY Like most people first priority was price for the product I was buying, DEWALT Strimmer and Power Tool World was the most competitive price I could find. I am apprehensive spending a large amount of money online when you haven’t dealt with the company previously but the transaction was flawless. Delivery was well ahead of my expected arrival time. I received my tool in 48 hours and in perfect condition. I was very pleased, thank you Power Tool World. This is how all online transactions should be.”

“Had a fair bit off them but what lets them down is their choice of couriers, parcels just go missing or damaged. I vowed after this last time 22/4/25 I’ll just pay a few quid more from a different company until they sort their couriers out! Products are fine, follow up service 5h1t3!”

“When I ordered the multi-tool I had bonuses it would come with a round 3-pin plug on the lead that required an adaptor lead or transformer to allow it to be used. There was nothing in the description nor photos to illustrate that it would not be a domestic 3-pin plug - may be it’s my ignorance on this subject but a useful photo of the lead/plug would have allowed me to make a correct decision and ignore it and avoid the return postage. As it was delivery was very quick (next day) and I returned it straight away (having to stump the postage) with the refund taking a while to be credited to me. Looked at another model with more voltage, and this time asked a question regarding the plug only to be told that it was a European 3-pin !! Again no photo of the lead or any description of the plug.”

“Ordered a Makita multitool 110v and although it arrived very quickly I was disappointed that the plug attached was a round 3-pin which required a transformer or converter lead which was not suitable for my domestic use. It may be my ignorance on this but I’d assumed the plug would be a domestic 3-pin - there was no explanation in the product description nor a photo of the lead/plug to allow me to deduce this. The ordering, delivery and return/refund procedure was fine (although had to stump up for the return postage) Son3 stars give for what turned out to be a wasted order.”
