Unfortunately the item I ordered wasn’t compatible for what my husband needed. Power tool world were good and I returned the item . I paid dpd to return but I didn’t get my full refund from power tool world they refunded me £48but I paid £54.95.considering I’d paid for postage to return item and I rang power tool world the morning I’d received it,and it was returned the next day .no explanation to why I didn’t get full refund.

You seriously need to change the delivery company (DPD) you use. This is the second time in a week I have ordered from you, and both times the delivery times I received via email, weren't kept to by a whole day. This has put me off ordering from you again.

Good product but I really wanted 2 DeWalt batteries. Seems you have limited stock choice.

I CANNOT RATE THIS, AS IT IS A PRESENT FOR MY SON, AND IT IS FOR HIS BIRTHDAY ON THE 17th. NOVEMBER. HOWEVER I CAN SAY IT WAS A VERY PROMPT AND CURTIOUS DELIVERY.

Very Happy with my purchase (Makita RT0700c) but not very happy that you charged me Carriage when you say that carriage is free over certain amount which I qualified for.

Whilst we do offer free carriage to mainland UK we are unable to do so for the postcode on your order as this is classified as Highlands by the carrier – this is why you have been charged for delivery. This isn’t a charge that we profit from, it is simply the charge levied by the carrier. We try to be very transparent with our delivery charges and do highlight them prior to order completion to make sure the customer is fully aware of what they are paying. The tool is great, however I was disappointed that it turned up in a non branded, slightly squashed, plain box with barely any packaging inside. It's for my boyfriend's birthday so will have to buy a TSTAK box to put it in to make it look a bit more acceptable as a gift! You get what you pay for I guess.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Certain body only tools are shipped in plain packaging as this enables us to make our prices as competitive as possible. You will find that most retailers who sell these body only tools ship in a very similar manner. I am very pleased with the Bosch hedge trimmer (AHS 60 16 ). However, I was not pleased with the condition of the Bosch box in which it came. It was damaged and partially opened. Fortunately, the trimmer was not damaged. I was pleased at the choice of models and with the price of £60

Ordered a Dewalt SDS Drill on standard 3 day delivery and all was going well. Had to pop out so missed the delivery. Arranged to pick up from DPD depot the next day. Packaging was damaged so checked the contents when I arrived back home. Found case had a small piece missing and the inlay tray was damaged. Parcel must of been damaged in transit. Some to-ing and fro-ing on the email and it was agreed the whole order should be returned and replaced. Off I went back to the DPD depot with the drill repackaged. DPD tracking confirmed the drill had arrived back at Powertool World. Then it all went quiet. I waited a couple of days expecting some sort of update. I though I had better drop them a line to find out what was going on. The response was “That will get processed by returns and resolved for you” which wasn’t very helpful but hey at least they were still talking to me. The next I heard was another couple of days later which was an automated message saying my order was being dispatched. After a moment of panic thinking my credit card details had been stolen I realised that the email was referring to the replacement drill. Today I have received the new drill intact and looks like in working order. My disappointment is the lack of and quality of the communications. Had I been kept informed of the progress or at least been aware of how the process worked - timings, relying on automatic notifications etc I wouldn’t of felt like a mushroom. I would use Powertool World again but would suggest they improve their communication processes or at least make customers aware of the process if a faulty item needs replacing.

I bought a pair of Bosch cordless drills last week. On the delivery it said order before 3pm for next day delivery. Did this and paid for it. Next day was a Saturday. I then got a message from DPD saying my delivery was on Monday. I contacted you guys immediately to see if I could pay extra again and have the parcel actually delivered on Saturday as I was going to France on Sunday. I'm still waiting for a reply and have used Poffice to send the drills on to France at my expense. Not impressed with after sales

Item is great delivery and communication was poor. Had to chase twice appreciate bad weather but it would have been nice to be informed of the delays beforehand.

The delivered the product when they said they would. However it was damaged. And needed returned. I would have preferred it was picked up from me for return instead of me printing out a form, packing it then driving to deliver the parcel to a shop for drop off.

Hi Paul, we are disappointed to read this review as we do have options when goods are damaged or faulty on receipt. We offered you in the first instance a pickup shop collection from your local Halfords which you accepted. However, we can also arrange a collection from your home address but as discussed this is an all day slot & not always the most convenient means of returning goods. Reasonable price but no carry case with my roughter, pretty poor. Wouldve thought I’d of gotten a hard carry case for an expensive power tool. Cardboard box is waste of time

Hi Joshua, we are really disappointed to read this as we do offer this router in its basic form, supplied in a cardboard box as a budget version but also as a complete kit in a Makpac case with the correct canvas inlay. The case & inlay are available separately detailed on the router page as "You might also need these".
