“Quick delivery and item as described, packaging however could have been better as the drill was free to move due to no internal packaging. Overall happy with purchase.”

Hi, thanks for the feedback regarding internal packaging. Most Makita drills supplied in Makpac cases are factory sealed & as you state are free to move around in their case due to no internal packaging apart from the moulded inlay tray. “The tool was spot on price was fair, delivery and communication poor, bought it on Amazon on the 14th and could not track, delivery was to be on the 19th, nothing arrived so emailed the company a few times 20th 21st, seemingly a failed delivery was attempted on the 17th and my tool had been at the local collection point since then. No card was delivered through my door to tell me this ( more of a courier issue) but not to have tracking is just daft.”

Hi Bruce, we don't supply any of our products on Amazon so I wonder if you may have this mixed up with a different supplier. Tracking is available as our parcels are delivered by DPD who offer a text message notification service and absolutely they should leave a card for a failed delivery attempt, so I can only apologise on behalf of them if this did not happen on this occasion. “We have a lot of Makita tools because the are quality and so is this machine. However - we bought it for screwing and it is not great for that. this hammer function (that is always on at the end of every screw as it gets more resistance) that is both noisy and makes the fastening less sensitive. The best is that the machine is small and strong. The worst is the noise and "no-feeling" We regret this buy for the purpose of screw driving with this machine - we would rather have one without the hammer function. The delivery was great.”

“The required item was in stock and at a competitive price , also available for next day delivery . Great . Ordered and paid ( plus next day delivery cost ), late on Tuesday afternoon , so can let another day go as its a late order , but didnt recieve it until Friday . Only another day after expected....but when you pay for a next day service. That said, product as described , and good value so wont quibble on that side, just a shame that the next day is more 48 hours.... If you read the web site delivery information , to be fair it says we use DPD to do our next day deliverys, but they dont guaruntee to do it .... i think i would use someone that does!”

“Delivery wasn't very good , uk mail emailed to say they had tried to deliver which wasn't true I was definitely in at the time they said they'd tried and said they had posted a card which they hadn't. Had to arrange another day. When delivery driver arrived a few days laterI told him about the previous delivery date a few days earlier and he told me we haven't any cards to post ?? . Box that drill was in wasn't very well packed drill was rattling around inside and box was all bashed .”

“Disappointed that the box shown to go with tool is just a box with an insert the doesn't suit the tool. The tool doesn't fit unless at an angle. So would recommend checking first but otherwise a good service.”
