Didn't get what I was expecting, I recieved the battery that didn't have the powder level lights on, was expecting it to have the power lights,but after re - reading the add it never mentioned them, the battery I ordered was cheaper than most places I searched, because of this fact, Should of paid more and got what I really wanted, I mentioned this to Power Tool, and they didn't even comment, at the end of the day I got what I paid for, be careful if you want the one with power level lights on, then it's a different model to this one

The products were very good and the delivery was speedy but a wrong item was sent and it's still not been sorted!! Was happy with the company but now I'm not happy with your company and find it very unlikely I'll be using your services again!!

Tools are good, low prices. Courier service is unbelievably awful. Not delivering to my neighbours after multiple times of asking, caused me to travel 30miles out of my way to pick the tools up. I won't be shopping here again purely because of the courier service.

Have always been happy with Powertool World previously but this time things were not quite so good. I wanted a Bosch tool they didn't have on their website so asked if they could get it - No, was the answer without any explanation so not helpful. Decided to buy a different model plus some accessories - all shown as In Stock but took a week before they despatched the order. They said they had to get some of the items from their supplier i.e. they were not in stock despite claiming they were. Fair enough that some things sell out of stock but then be transparent and show it as out of stock on the website. Hopefully this is a blip in their service ?

Hi, we are really sorry to have let you down on this occasion. We only sell items that are listed on our website. Sometimes manufacturers have many different variants of the same product, different accessory packs, battery options etc. so it may not be viable for us to stock all options. This could have been explained better & for that we apologise. Your out of stock item was a genuine mistake as all our stock item quantities are `Live` on the website. Website, purchase and delivery fantastic. Cost of item - Bosch GOP 10.8 V-LI Multi Cutter was best I could find. This was one of my favourite new tools once I started using it. Unfortunately it packed-in and died after 4 months of light / moderate use. Now trying to find out if I can get it repaired or replaced under warranty.

I did have an issue with PayPal which meant that my order was messed up. This problem required me to order the rest of my items separately which incurred a delivery charge and the items were dearer as they were not part of, as what I was told, a 'bundle'. When I called to be told this, I was very disappointed that your company was not prepared to offer me the items at the offer price. Which probably means I will look elsewhere for tools in the future

Our system did not connect the orders as they were placed three days apart & consequently did not apply the bundle discount. Bought a Dewalt SDS, online, along with the case to carry it in. I then quickly realised I wanted a 4ah battery to go with it. I called straight away and spoke to a gentleman, to see if I could pay directly for the battery, avoiding the £5 postage, and suggested the battery could go in the case that I'd ordered and paid for, since there's actually a slot in the case for it. The gentleman I spoke to, said "errr nice try, but no". I was taken back a little. He seemed off hand, and I didn't think there was any need for the seeming complete lack of any effort to help a customer. I gave a 3 star review, but customer relations like that, deserve much less. I went on eBay, and found the battery for a little less than these were charging, with free postage. Shame it had to come to that.

Product I purchased arrived on time but because the delivery guy was to in to much of a rush and I didn't answer the door quick enough he threw it over the garden fence which is over 6 feet high and it landed on the concrete floor. I wouldn't mind but it was suppose to be signed for and it's an expensive product that I purchased. I would think twice before using website again if that's the kind of service I was likely to receive in future.

Haven't used item yet as it was bought as a gift. When delivered it was left on a plant pot outside the front door for all too see. Not happy.

This would have been a 5 * review had I received feed back on the returned Bosch Charger. Power Tool World organised the uplift of the charger for the next day and that was perfect. No feed back has been offered to say if a new charger has been dispatched as the original one had only just been delivered. The disappointing aspect to this is the charger had not been used for more than 15min when the fault was reported back. Advise was not to use and box the charger up for return. Now have a Bosch Hammer Drill that can't be used as I cannot charge the battery. Pity I have not had any feed back because up until this point I was delighted with the customer service. Hi, as discussed, for speed we arranged Bosch to collect directly from yourself. Unfortunately they did not communicate the steps of their returns procedure but did manage to get your replacement charger to you within a few days. Regards -Dave(Powertoolworld)

Product is great. Paid £20 for next day delivery (ordered on a Sunday) but it didn't specify that it wouldnt be delivered till Tuesday. So I felt I got it late and paid over the odd for delivery!

I have dealt with and bought from this company for many years. On this occasion I felt the level of service was not as good as usual. I had to chase my item when it did not deliver on the day after purchase only to be told that the policy had changed and I had to now pay for next day delivery. I advised that this did not used to be the case as my purchase was £279, the response I got was that if I wanted it next day I had to pay as it hadn't yet been picked and it would be 3 days. This used to be my first choice company for consumables and tools, I would now also consider other companies.

No reply back on comment from returned sales e-mail, but quick on others, delivery quick service and phone answered quickly, disappointed with Makita themselves, phoned head office and was told mainly made in japan, most of the items i bought (18v drills, cir saw, angle grinder) all had made in China!, batteries 2 japan, 2 china, 1 Vietnam!!,

Good Service . BUT no no details on website to say that Hitachi nails would fit my DCN692 nail gun as a result power tool world lost a sale and I had to pay twice the price for 3 boxs of Dewalt Nails The Nail gun keeps jamming I have had the 2nd fix Gun for 2 years but this one is a pain

Hi, the Hitachi nails are linked to the nail gun as a "You might also need these" but it does not actually list that model as being compatible. Thanks for pointing that out, we will amend the description on all compatible nails.
