Was a good item and delivered fast but were told the item had not been delivered when it had. Spent an hour chasing up on it.

You sent the wrong batteries but corrected the problem the following day. When I telephoned you, the employee answered with a different company name which may cause customers some concern. I made purchases of Makita products from another company because you didn't offer the items. However I would use you again because the over all service was fine.

From time to time our sales team may answer the phone as C.G fixings, but as you’ve brought this to my attention I have asked that they only answer as Powertool World to avoid confusion as you rightly pointed out. My Bosch palm router arrived quickly. However, the seal on the box was broken and the instructions for the included accessories were for the US version of the tool.

Hi David, All of our Bosch items are ordered from Bosch UK and come with the instructions they provide. As for the seal we do occasionally quality check items but I can assure you all of our items are brand new and unused. I hope this clears up any issues and you return to Powertool World. The box (Bosch L-Boxx 136) arrived on time and as ordered. However, the inside of the box lid had several pieces of black pre-formed sponge-like material which was glued to the lid and a product leaflet which refers to a Bosch laser instrument or similar. There was also a piece of the "Original Bosch" protective product label on the front of the box. The box is OK and looks unused from the outside but it seems that it was used to house a particular Bosch tool/instrument, rather than it was sold as a separate item, just as an empty box. The only problem is that I had to remove sponge-like material from the lid, which was easy, but has left quite a few black double-sticky patches which are impossible to remove. Not the end of the World but it will take time and effort to remove the sticky stuff (which now sticks to some of the tools).

Hi Vladimir, Some of our L-Boxx’s are result of splits from other Bosch products so apologies that a leaflet was enclosed referencing the split tool, however the L-Boxx is brand new and unused. The black protective sponge is there to protect the tool however since you've removed this you can use a rubbing alcohol which will remove the sticky residue. Thanks, Samantha

Pleased with the Product, but not with the time it took to be delivered, and also an email I sent with regard to this was not replied too.

Hi Stanley, Sorry for the delay in your order, the blades you ordered appeared to be out of stock and when they became available again we dispatched your order immediately. We are implementing a new system in August that ensures that our site doesn’t display products that have just sold out. With regards to your email, we have no record of this on our system. Good selection of products on the website and they had the combination of Bosch drill/driver model and battery that I wanted at a reasonable price. The delivery process was good, with real time updates from the delivery company of when to expect it on the delivery day. Only problem was that the web site indicated that the items were in stock and could be delivered next working day, which is what I wanted for a job I was doing, but in fact they were not delivered until the next week because the battery turned out not to be in stock after all. If the items had arrived next day as expected, or if the web site had given the correct stock status and likely delivery timescale, I would have rated it as Very Good.

Hi Joseph, apologies that one of your items was out of stock but the website displayed otherwise. We try to keep the website and stock levels as up to date as possible. We are updating our website and stock system in August, so that stock level’s update automatically and don’t have a delay which currently may display items that have just sold out. The drill supplied works well and Power Tools World operate sound order procedures. It is a pity that their carrier, DPD sent my drill to Germany by mistake. This resulted in a delay receiving the drill and considerable frustration. I had to continually impose on my neighbours until the item finally arrived, one week after order.

I chose PowerTool World because a search engine came up with them as stockist of a Bosch product. So, I ordered on line expecting a delivery within a couple of days. This didn't happen, because they were out of stock and Bosch then took 3/4 weeks to deliver to them. Finally the product arrived and everything is ok.

Hi Brian, sorry for the delay in receiving your item. We aim to deliver the item within 3-5days if the item is required to be ordered in. We base delivery on the reporting of the manufacturer, however unfortunately in this case Bosch themselves had none available and failed to supply us with the correct information. This happens rarely and I can only apologise for the inconvenience and when the item did become available to us we sent this next day delivery. Regards Samantha.

Delivery was fast so thanks for that. The charger and battery were just placed in a box with nothing to stop them bashing into each other and no protection from being dropped. They work fine but it dose make me wonder if there is some damage i cant see. Anyway great price.

Hi William, sorry to hear that your parcel arrived lacking the necessary packaging. I have looked into the matter and can confirm that this was simply an error on our behalf during a busy time within the warehouse; our items are usually packaged correctly. Was disappointed that I was not informed the tool I ordered was out of stock till 4 days after I placed the order, then had to wait 3 weeks for delivery. However, when they finally gave me a date delivery was on that date & time given.

Hi Philip, Thanks for your feedback I have had a look into this for you. At the point of ordering your item we quoted 3-4 days delivery. Sadly, it is quite a common occurrence with the Bosch ordering system that we are not notified of any stock issues right away. I'm afraid we are in the hands of our suppliers, but as soon as we are notified we let you know. We are working with Bosch to try and resolve this. Great to hear that you were pleased with the next day timed delivery once stock did arrive and hope you will shop with PowertoolWorld in the future.
