It was only an order for a couple of things and so not very difficult to get it right! Today i had an emailed invoice from you with lots about delivery. That needs looking at as you delivered the next day which was few days ago. If you email the invoice well after delivery there should not be delivery info on the invoice.

Tool came quickly and as described but as other reviewers have mentioned you don't get an order confirmation email which is standard procedure for most internet companies these days. It leaves you wondering if the order was accepted and if the item is actually being shipped - bit strange really.

Product very good but when you get charged for next working day delivery you expect next working day delivery if you know what I mean !!!!

Hi Tim, We're sorry that you weren't completely satisfied with the service you received. Orders placed before 3pm are delivered the next working day. Your order was placed after 3pm on a Friday, which resulted in your order being dispatched on the Monday for delivery the next working day. Competitive prices. Fast delivery. Unfortunately no email confirmation of the transaction was received as is normal custom. Additionally, under the 'contact us' option in the home page, and enquiry as to this omission, I received no return email or contact.

Hi John, We're sorry that your experience with us did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We had a notice on our site between Christmas and New Year outlining deliveries for orders placed during this period would be made between the 4th - 6th January as we were closed. The tool is great, but the delivery fella market me as I'm not in the house, I received the message sorry I'm not in, I took a day off only to receive that tool, so as soon I've got that message I ran outside found the driver in the neighbourhood and collected the tool you guys send me. It shouldn't be like that, really upset me this kind of service, I know it's not your fault, but.....

I bought a replacement item for my Trend Airshield Pro. All these spares are unbelievably expensive and Trend should be ashamed of themselves. The service from Power Tool World was not bad but the p&p was on the steep side.

I was expecting the the Bits to be inluded in the pack I was surprised that the were missing. Overall it was not as cheap as i was expecting. As I had to spend additional £50 on bits

Hi Mesud, Thanks for shopping with Powertool World. I have looked into your order, our ‘What’s in the box’ section on the product description does state what goods you will receive. We do try to make it easy for customers to know exactly what to expect when their goods arrive and in this instance drill bits were not stated. Regards, Samantha

I rang twice before placing the order. It was clear I was not an expert customer. The first time I said I wanted a Makita Impact Driver to remove some old decking boards. The headline price looked good on this Makita DTD146Z. Would it do the job? Then I noticed it was necessary to buy the battery pack separately. I rang up to ask about the different options. In so doing I mentioned that the price was now no longer so attractive. In the end, I ordered. But now it turns out I need the charger separately too. Your chap on the phone could have mentioned that when we spoke. Also, you could have put the possible bundles up on your site.

Hi Geoffrey, Apologies that you feel as though you were misinformed, the impact driver in question is on the website as ‘body only’ which means that the tool comes as just the bare unit and batteries/chargers are sold separately. We will look into the creation of potential bundles to assist first time buyers; however our current system allows maximum customization in which buyers are able to pick and choose any Ah battery and any charger if needed. Ordered a drill on Tuesday morning (before midday). It was showing as in-stock. Got an order confirmation email straight away. As this was my first order, I didn't know if I'd get another email confirming despatch, but I'd read the other reviews, with many people praising the next day delivery, even when they'd ordered well past the 3pm deadline, so I wasn't worried. Took the Wednesday off work to accept my delivery. Waited and waited... nothing. At the end of the day I began writing an email to Powertool World enquiring about my order, but while doing so an email popped into my inbox... stating that my order had just been despatched (at 16:45), and would arrive on Thursday. Couldn't take another day off work, so had to pay my apprentice to wait at my house to sign for it. Not pleased at all.

the driver was supposed to deliver between 12pm and 1pm. He was just down the road at 12.15pm, we finally got our delivery at 6.15pm!! He did not want us to sign for the package either which was strange. Regards

I bought 2 drills , the drills had been opened and not been put back in the packaging properly and there was a small dent in the case .

Service from Power Tool World was very good. Items dispatched immediately. Nex day Delivery Service was atrocious, Items left at Wrong Addrress not signed for. Luckely recipient was honest and delivered to me the next day. Will make me think twice before ordering again. J R M Bourton.

Having looked into the tracking provided by DPD it appears you requested for your parcel to be left in a safe place, the driver did this and the signature was ‘SHED’ as confirmed by the tracking information. You have expressed your concerns about your parcel being left at the wrong address, please be assured that if the person receiving your goods was not honest we have ways to retrieve your parcel. The goods were a very good price (the cheapest i could find) but Power Tool World in my first experience of buying form them were badly let down by the carrier (DPD) as my parcel took from the first date given 29-July till the 3 Aug when it turned up. I understand this is may happen with carriers but it has made me think again about ordering from them again, i did used Power tool worlds out of hours e-mail to ask about when the goods would arrive but i got no reply....guess next if i use them i will phone if a problem happens.

Hi Derek, I have looked into your order; DPD collected your order from us on the 28th ready for delivery on the 29th. Looking at the tracking information DPD has directed your parcel incorrectly causing a delay in you receiving your order. I can only apologise and assure you this is not a common occurrence. You mentioned using an out of hours email address to contact us, can you specify which one you used please? We have no records of an email from you. Thanks, Samantha
