“I have bought several Makita tools from PTW. However, the latest, a DUH507 hedge trimmer was a bit disappointing. The slightly battered box it came in was obviously a kit box with the battery and charger taken out. That alone would not have been an issue but the production date 2023.2 showed it was nearly three years old. I was able to register it with Makita for warranty but it is annoying that it was sold as new when it obviously was not. It will not get used that often so hopefully all will be ok but in future I will not necessarily be treating PTW as my “Go To” when purchasing new tools.”

“The Makita blower is fine what I expect from Makita. Power Tool World on the other hand failed this time. Not the first time I've bought tools here. I did not get next day delivery when I paid for it and in time for next day. Least I could of got was a reimbursed delivery charge which was peanuts but good for customer satisfaction.”
