Having purchased a Milwaukee slim organiser case, I was greeted with a big white Milwaukee sticker stuck onto the transparent lid which (as careful as I was) tore off leaving a horrible mess on the front, despite trying to clean this off using different methods from different recommended websites. It just made it worse! Having spoken to customer services I was offered £5 to spend more with them! A word of advise. If you order anything with a big white Milwaukee sticker stuck to the front of it, don’t even try. Send it straight back!

The sticker is applied by us for product identification, and it can usually be removed safely without damage by using warm, soapy water. I ordered 2 recip saws & 2 batteries worth over £1,200 and got notification that it was delivered which it was not! I then was unable to contact anyone on the phone at Power Tool World because they have a phone system that takes you round in circles and connects to NOBODY!! DHL who confirmed the package was delivered although it was not delivered to the specified address, was the same for contact - could not speak to anyone. I eventually had to resort to online chat for both. After many days I got a response from DHL with a stupid picture that was supposed to be the proof of delivery. No name, no signature just a picture that was not from the building that the package was supposed to be delivered to. After a few more days, after already telling Power Tool World that the package definitely had not come to my building, they sent me the same stupid picture from DHL!! Power Tool World then told me, STILL ON ONLINE CHAT, NO CALLS, that they can't give me a refund and needed another 48 hours to investigate! After another 72 hours, they finally asked if they they can send me a replacement, but they could only send me one recip saw and not the 2 that I had ordered!! I politely declined and requested a refund!!! This whole process took over a week and the credit to come back to my account - EVEN LONGER!! The service and the lack of contact on an order of such high value and the fact that NO ONE can actually speak to you and you have to resort to online chat with a PAINFUL RESPONSE TIME was quite pathetic and appalling. For these reasons, I would be extremely reluctant to use Power Tool World again.

As soon as this was reported to us, we raised an investigation with the courier to determine what had happened to the delivery. Unfortunately, these investigations can take some time while the courier reviews the tracking information, driver records and proof of delivery. We appreciate that the process took longer than you would have liked, however we acted as quickly as possible based on the information provided by the courier during the investigation.
