Too difficult to complete the paperwork. Waiting for installation Too long wait. Phone calling service rotten, waited on phone 18 minutes no body answered. The day of installation, appointment got cancelled because the engineers van has broken down. Absolutely RUBBISH NEVER AGAIN will use or will recommend your company.

very poor service, constantly emailing for an installation date. We have had the car for 5 months and it has been difficult charging it. Having to take the car to work and leave it overnight on a few occasions. We only finally got a date when we requested the car was taken back. Very disappointing

My insight on Pod Point customer service (wow). I was expecting an engineer at 10AM today to replace our dead WiFi chip. At 11AM when he was overdue by an hour, I called him (had his number from the 'I'll be with you at 10AM text), and he gave me an address which he visited and he said the owner told him nothing was wrong with his pod point. I called customer service, and they gave me the full details of where the engineer visited, including the full address, primary contact name, and a secondary contact name - eventually it turned out that it was another customers of theirs, and they booked it incorrectly, but not before giving me all their details (GDPR anyone?). I complained, as I took the day off work, and I wanted someone to see to us today. After what's been a total of 3 hours and 22 minutes on the phone to them (mostly waiting to get through, and then continually chasing when they fail to 'call back within the hour'). They eventually said someone will be with us between 4 and 5 PM. It's 5PM now, and there's still no one here. I'm on the phone to them (been waiting to get through in excess of 36 minutes) but, their customer support is down the toilet. My recommendation - stay away from these law breaking, frustrating, useless and incompetent cowboys - they're not worth your time.

The actual installation itself was excellent. However the appointment had to be rescheduled on a number of occasions due to illness and whilst this is acceptable, the communication from pod point was not. I contacted them on the second occasion to confirm that they had rebooked the installation with their subcontractor and asked for someone to call me back to explain why it hadn’t and to rebook. No call received and it was only booked in when I called the sub contractor myself. Extremely poor communication.

I paid to install a 22kw pod charger at home but 7kw was installed without previous communication. I only noticed this when I tried to charge my car. I tried to contact Podpoint but only managed to speak to someone whose job is to write down the issue and pass on. Very poor service. Will not recommend anyone to use them

Took three attempts to install, being stood up twice, first time was unfortunate, but the second time, no communication received until 4:40pm saying they weren't turning up. Sadly on the 3rd time they installed the wrong unit and was missing the keylock. still waiting for a return on my phone call to understand what is going to be done to correct the situation. Sadly it seems there is a disconnect between Pod Point and their installation partners. Still waiting for an explanation over the second missed installation. Seems that customers are disposable and can be messed around.

Engineer was very professional and friendly. I was very happy with the service received for installation. However, I originally paid for installation in Feb and have only just had the podpoint installed in Sept. This was an unacceptably long wait. I was not contacted by the sales team and instead had to chase them to get my booking slot.

I am extremely disappointed by the way you handled my installation today. you sent 1 engineer for 2 person job, to this the job is not completed fully. i have 2 cables at high level that are attached to my phone cable, as he could only reach this from my bathroom window. He could not tack the power cable because he did not have a ladder to complete the installation, I am happy i am happy with what the engineer could do but extremely unhappy as you knew this was a 2 person installation from the survey and email photos i sent. Please let me know ASAP when this installation will be completed to the standard you would expect on your own property

I was not informed that the pod would need WiFi connection - if I had known the pod needed good WiFi connection I would have asked for the pod to be placed somewhere else, the pod can now only charge I can not use the app when I asked for the pod to be put on the other side I was told I would incur additional charges

2 appointments cancelled and rearranged, one on the day when I had booked to be at home. Mix up in the 3 appointment but luckily went ahead as planned (I was told the wrong date. Pre survey was unannounced.

This whole episode - from first contact with Pod Point - up to the acceptance of my application - was a shambles. Reams of on-line government red tape in the form of e-mails from Pod Point where I was required to complete attached forms that were written in official government jargon I was expected to understand as an expert from the beginning. Mistakes and omissions were made by me because I didn't understand what was required. My only communication with Pod Point was by repeated e-mails. I got the distinct impression that I was being treated as an imbecile by whoever it was who replied to my e-mails and who seemed to think I should know exactly what was required on the forms from the moment my application was made. I also got the distinct impression that I was being substituted for someone who should have been employed by Pod Point to acquire all the relevant information and that I was doing the job for them. I am not accustomed to this type of treatment. Some details required for the on-line application form could only be obtained from where I was buying the car which proved problematic and which required repeated contact either personally or by phone. From my one off - never to be repeated experience - I can say with certainty that the whole process of my application could have been dealt with swiftly and efficiently had someone at Pod Point, knowing exactly what was required, had spoken to me personally and explained what was needed from me. I was even instructed to submit various relevant photos of the installation site but not knowing what was relevant or spurious. When I did this, the on-line form wouldn't accept them because there were too many. The only up side of this bad experience was that - my application having been finally accepted - the installation process was efficiently performed. In summation I would say this. The whole application process I endured would have been managed with great efficiency had a dedicated knowledgeable employee of Pod Point contacted me and guided me through this one off - never to be repeated - application.

No issues at all. Everything explained prior to the start of work. All done in a couple of hours, faultless. Updated and revised. Guarantee worthless as they totally ignore you emails when there is a fault. Sorry, but how can you recommend a company that offers no warranty back up?

The admin side is terrible. Poor comms no response to emails. The telephone was no better. 7 months it took and for me to issue a charge back from my credit card company. Told me I hadnt followed the procedure which I had to the letter. Then they sent me a link to complete a form and the link they sent took me to a dodgy American website...the independent installers were great but the whole pod point company I could never eecommend. Sorry.

It was a very painful process of arranging the installation. In fact a nightmare.

I have once used the PodPoint charger (Dora-Fred) at Bicton Heath Co Op in Shrewsbury, a month ago. Yesterday (Sept 1) I tried again but neither the A or B side worked. The B side is shown in the app as charging when it clearly was not. I called PodPoint customer service and they suggested reinstalling the app, this made no difference, after nearly an hour fiddling I gave up. I emailed over a request for further help, 24 hours later, no reply. This is not good enough.

Awful. Lead into using these via KIA dealership. It has been a nightmare. I have to be honest they were very efficient taking my money. I've changed my armoured cable, changed a consumer board and now when finally they turn up the instal they main circuit breaker needs to be changed even though my electrician has certified it. And Pod point can apparantly disconnect the pod point remotely. That worries me. Why should they have control of my equipment? Never respond to my emails. Awful. Now they left without me being connected and no istruction on use other than here's a booklet.
