After waiting weeks the guy had to cancel on the day as van broke down then had to wait week for another booking. During this time there was a mix up with appointments. Then it’s a nightmare trying to get the installation certificate to allow you to claim Scottish government grant.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. A terrible experience from start to finish ( when they eventually finished). Couldn’t organise a p*** up in a brewery. Told me my meter was to old when electric board said it was fine. Told me organise a fuse change in my meter that I didn’t need. Wouldn’t come to survey installation instead asked me to do it (customer). Sent installer without basic equipment. Took over 4 months to complete installation. If these people are the only option then stick to a petrol car.

My personal data including bank details was shared with an external third party. i have raised a complaint but despite several follow ups with the complaints team and additionally highlighting the seriousness of the issue I have yet to receive a resolution.

Awful service and customer care. My podpoint never worked. Contacted service customer and all the phone numbers and emails I could get hold of and they kept telling me they would be updating the software. Patiently I have tried over and over to check and connect the car(s) with no success. Still the same green light flashing and no charging. Everyday I send an email asking to send a technician with no success and today I got an electrical certificate sent to my email for something that doesn't work and never worked!!! Worst service ever and mainly considering that I have paid everything upfront and got someone else to prepare all the works for the installation separately! Ridiculous

They installed a faulty charging point. We have had our electric car for a week and have been unable to charge our car at home. We have been trying to contact pod point to alert them of the faulty switchboard for over a week with no response. Terrible after-care service.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No follow to emails up until I persistently complained. Outrageous overcharging for groundworks. Good people but hopelessly organised.

Diabolical experience from start to finish. Difficulty arranging installation date- started process mid January, 12th April before they would confirm although took payment in January. Multiple requests for photos and videos. Then charged additional cost for internal trunking- tone of email unfriendly threatening to cancel install if not paid and would only issue partial refund if not used. The trunking wasn’t required and I was refunded in full. Poor install see photos. Terrible workmanship inside and out. Not sealed outside therefore not left watertight. I paid for lock, wasn’t installed, had to get second visit. I can’t remember ever having such an awful experience. I want someone to get back to me. This needs to be rectified please.

Not happy with the way Pod Point has handled my installation. So many things could have been handled better: - the installation appointment was cancelled twice and rescheduled many times; someone phoned once to ask if they could come on the day as there had been a cancellation but then called back several minutes later to cancel it. - it took sometimes several days to get answers to my emails AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR AN INVOICE despite emailing a couple of times (I cannot get my claim processed from the energy company until I get that)! - the Pod Point engineer did something to the electrical board during the installation that created a loud electrical buzzing noise and we had to have our own electrician to come and fix it (we didn’t want to wait for over a week as there didn’t seem to be available appointments sooner). All in all, not the best experience and I will certainly not be recommending Pod Point! I have yet to test the unit - I am getting my car in a week or so so fingers crossed, there is no problem then...

The pod point doesn't work. The installer came, installed, said nothing, and left. He didn't say anything about there needing to be a wifi connection. The wifi doesn't reach the podpoint location so it's useless. I have tried getting help but no-one calls back.

The installer left us with a non working Podpoint solo . After many calls and emails an engineer visit was arranged nearly 2 weeks later , their is no feed back to customers from the installation team whatsoever, I have been left in the dark not knowing if an engineer was booked to come and fix it . Eventually I received an automated message saying the engineer will come today between 08.30 and 10.30 am it is now 11am he/she has yet to arrive, I wonder if they will turn up at all, I have a nice new E/V I have been unable to charge at 7kwh at home . So so far not impressed.

The charger was fitted efficiently but linking the charger to my mobile phone PodPoint app is proving well nigh impossible and very, very frustrating.

There is something seriously wrong with this company. More than a month after paying them their fee, they have failed to even schedule an installation date. They ignore repeated emails and when you get to speak to someone at the company and they promise to sort out the problem, nothing happens. Amongst the worst service we have ever experienced.

I would not recommend PodPoint It took 12 weeks from payment until 2 electricians came to bring the charge unit , by that time MY electrician had completed all the work needed under instruction from Pod Point , from my fuse box to the outside wall where the Charge Unit was to be hung . Pod Point hung the unit and connected it but would not run the Data cable they insisted was necessary to the fuse box to prevent overloading ?? The unit is still not in operation The Pid Point contact Faisal only appears to contact me in a 3 week cycle I am most unhappy and disappointed

My pod point was fitted on Thursday 15th April. Tried charging for first time and didn’t work. The Pod Point is still not working and I am still waiting on scheduling team on (Thursday 22nd April) advising when I will receive a visit from a technician to resolve the problem.everything seemed ok on day of installing but definitely not since

Terrible communication. You representative, Alexander Wan, would take an entire week to respond to emails, with his responses impacting installation that would happen the very next day. Complete disregard for my time and issues. Took over a month to get installation in, electrician came 3 times, I had asked specifically for which works would need to be completed before he came, Alexander Wan never bothered to understand the question thus resulting in another empty visit from the elctricitian. To this day am still waiting for the app to connect to the system as your installer/electrician said he couldn't do it. It's been over a month.

My at home Pod Point stopped working over 2 1/2 weeks ago and NO ONE at Pod Point will call me back to sort out the issue. Very poor customer service and now have a very expensive, useless, piece of kit stuck to the side of my house. Avoid and look for another supplier. It seems fitting they can do - breakdowns they do not.

Badly fitted - the electrician broke a clamp and then tried to fix the problem with gaffer tape so the charger wouldn't work. This would have been ok if Pod Point's response had been fast and solved the problem. But one week later despite numerous calls and emails, they still have not been out to fix it. Their management is quite frankly the worst we've ever come across. They only want the money and then don't give a s***. Erik Fairbairn needs to get a grip of his management team as the poor individuals at the end of the phone are doing their best but their superiors are completely useless. If I could give less than one star I would.
