I provided all the information asked for, including multiple photographs. After a wait of approximately four weeks, the appointment was confirmed the day before and two men from Energise arrived on time on 14 April. We discussed where the pod would be sited, with minimal cable required, and the men began to conduct tests on the electrical system. I was then informed that the Earth was giving high readings and that the pod could not be installed. There was no quote for putting this right - the men simply went away, and I have heard nothing since from Pod Point, despite phone calls and emails. This is unprofessional, and extremely unsatisfactory. The cost of the installation is included in the price, and any extra cost to fulfil safety requirements should be notified. What am I supposed to do now, apart from asking for a refund? Not worth even 1 star unless I hear from them soon!

You cancelled 2 appointments on the day scheduled to complete the install and the reasons given were hard to believe. I ordered a 7.5 metre cable and a 5.0 metre cable has been fitted

Awful....first engineer called for maximum 5 minutes. said he could not do it. Had to pay £310 for him to come back for 30 minutes. Ripped off. Total cost £685

Really slow support service, only had the charger for 6 weeks and already had 2 errors which has taken over 1hr of waiting on the phone line to be answered and then waiting over 24 hours for a call from someone who could actually help rather than just logging the complaint. So so poor.

The process with Pod Point is cumbersome and unprofessional. They need to look at the process and update the website as so many inaccuracies. They have lost out on so much business.

A disappointing experience it was very confusing for both sides what exactly was required and ended up with some unnecessary work and two visits, and cost, from and external electrician. I would suggest going forward a pre visit is scheduled then it can be detailed exactly what is required to be prepped to get the instillation done. The fitter himself was good and tried to be helpful. Also not received the guarantee as yet???

I completed all the advance information POD Point needed and even asked if they needed more information before installation. However, when the installer turned up he had a look at my small back door step and refused to carry out the full installation of the cable as it would men he had to provide protection for the cable under the step. The installer seemed to want to wash his hands of installing the cable under the step and was very unhelpful by stating 'the Cable needs to be protected under the step and there are regulations about this'. Then he said I'll just leave that bit to you. I suggested he install the cable over the back door, but again he refused to do this and was VERY unhelpful. He just left having installed the cable up to the step and said, call me back when you have installed the cable under the step and he went without any further assistance. This left me stuck, especially during COVID when it was impossible to find anyone to install the cable under my step and I was totally unaware of what 'protection' or 'regulations' were needed for that cable under my step, which I find totally appalling. Luckily the garage selling me the car helped by providing their handyman to install the cable for me or I would have been totally stuck without any assistance at all from POD Point. In addition, I had ordered a key lock for the POD point charger which was not provided and I am still currently waiting for this. The customer service provided by POD point was almost non existent and I certainly would NOT recommend them to install a Charge Point for your car, look for an alternative installer. I think they should provide the full installation service, not pass responsibility of part of it back to the customer who has no idea of the regulations or requirements for that cable.

Very poor. Botched installation. Podpoint do not answer the phone, return your calls or respond to emails. Very disappointed. I accepted a token goodwill payment which was inadequate given the amount of time that this installation took.

Communication with Podpoint was shocking. I would not reccomend using them to friends or family. It has taken a year to install the Podpoint after constant chasing to the point I was about o send my car back to the lease company who had to step in and continue to chase on my behalf. Once they agreed to fit it, further delays were put in place around the electricity supply to the property. No site visit took place from Podpoint. They expected other agencies to do all of the work. The person who installed the Poispoint was fantastic, he is the only reason I am giving 1 star.

I am currently in touch with the Ombudsman due to the contact and service received. I have requested a conversation from a manager on multiple occasions and one of you team is now ignoring my communications.

Purchasing an EV was a remarkable experience. Driving it is brilliant. But the experience of getting Podpoint to install our domestic charge point was truly dreadful. After our initial discussion, I discovered that in order to have it installed in my detached garage, I would need to lay a 32A dedicated cable with 40A RCB. I did this and expected to get the home charger in January 2021, it then became February, then there was a problem with the sub-contractor, then it was March and we finally got it installed thanks to Hannah Morrison, who was the only person who helped us.

Disappointing. We sent photographs and had several conversations as to how the cabling would be connected. We smashed 2 floor tiles only to find out the armoured cable wouldn’t fit in the space after all.

Easy to order, quick to install, but it has never worked properly & 6 weeks later still unable to get the issue resolved. Podpoint back up and maintenance service is non-existent.

Installed. Stopped working 24 hours later. Terrible customer service eventually got an engineer out who had to replace the unit. 3 weeks later... stopped working again... another engineer appointment this time to replace the clamp. Terrible customer service impossible to speak to someone to sort out problems.

total rubbish misleading and take money and don't supply supply a service told you use the wring brand of RCD and so won't install the charger a £10 MEM Rcd would domit and then the fuse box has to be the same type after consulting qualified electrical contractors who say this information is total rubbish. still my car does not have a charge pod as promised and paid for on the 11.12 .20 unbelievable

long winded misleading lying staff don't answners the phone don't belive customers sell the wrong systems dont use them also take money off you three months ago and don't provide a thing then tell they have only just seen your email the you you have use the wrong brand of rcd in a fuse unbelievable

Very poor experience. Took 3 weeks after original installation to get working. First engineer connected wrong wire to electric box. Second engineer failed to attach digital cable properly. Hours of time on phone trying to rectify. Very poor experience. First engineer very nice laying cable but under significant time pressure which probably resulted in error. Second engineer rude and arrogant And really upset my wife. Wouldn’t choose this company again for installation.

My Podpoint charger started failing to charge correctly soon after I started using it and despite a number of attempts to correct the fault, it is still not charging at full capacity meaning I have to spend money charging away from home at premium rates. Awaiting latest response from Podpoint, they have been silent for two weeks now despite a number of emails and calls from me chasing. At my wit's end.
