Feel an engineer should be out to do measuring and suitability instead of the customers doing it .but apart from that everybody been very helpful over phone

After a few suggestions, best location for charger was established and charger was fitted. Internal cabling was not covered up with cable trunking as promised though.

Overall the information available/ communication was a bit limited but Mike the installer was excellent. He was friendly and professional and did a great job fitting the charge point.

Our Installer was excellent! He deserves 5 stars, he was professional, he messaged me for expected time of arrival the day before and was prompt. Unfortunately getting to the pointt wherby an installation date was established was a bit tedious and lengthy. My car arrived 3 weeks before the pod point was installed. I explained an onsite survey would be beneficial and after much deliberation and email sending with pictures - a survey was needed

The installation was fine, but why can't you provide more specific timings for installation? If you could narrow the installation time down it would be a much better experience, rather than waiting in all day for the installation to take place at the end of the installation window. I asked if this could be done but got a standard reply back. Not the best experience unfortunately

Initial booking extremely simple and easy to do. Day of installation, no problems with chosen point of installation but some outstanding issues despite installation at the beginning of April which we are yet to hear further about (relating to wifi access).

The installation by James and his colleague was first class,efficient,clean and tidy,no fuss. The pre-installation process was extremely tortuous, had to send numerous emails with photos and the project manager not being able to get his head around where the cable would go(HIS WORDS)

very slow at communication,I asked for 5 weeks for a lock to be added to my pod point.Not very good service.

The 'self-survey' was long and complicated and in the form of an online questionnaire. Once submitted a couple of weeks later a reply came to say I needed additional works before they could install. Once the work was complete I advised PodPoint who checked a few specification details and scheduled an install date. Unfortunately, the first one was cancelled at short notice - due to the illness of one of the installers. However, a short notice slot became available later the same week and the installer arrived as scheduled. Now installed neatly and is working fine.

The kit is fine, the installation was technically very good and it all works. The ordering process and the customer support is a disaster. Filling in masses of irrelevant information, their IT system asking you to complete an online form after you've already done it. Despite promises from the installer on the day, and legal obligations, I still haven't received my EIC. Now to cap it all, they have removed the email address for support and require you to use a web form to lodge your request ... to which they never respond. But the kit is good.

Once I was able to complete the pre installation survey everything went very well! Excellent service from the installer. There is no contact number if you have a problem and nobody replied when I sent an email request.

Booking was a pain, I had to chase them up. Most annoying thing was they took the money straight away even though they knew it would be a few months prior to installation. Engineer was great however he ignored what PodPoint had asked him to do. They wanted him to run cable along hallway ceiling which would have been awful. Luckily the engineer had commonsense and put wire up into loft (bungalow) and tidied nicely after himself. Product itself is very good and app a great idea too.

Fitted efficiently, however instructions are unclear, fitter did not install from garage as expected. I wasted a lot of time clearing part of the garage when I did my need to.

We had a survey, which meant being in the house - not a problem. When the engineer came to install the charger he had been given no information and therefore didn't have all the parts he required and had to come back. He should have been briefed on the task, and given copies of the report and photographs. The engineer himself a very competent and returned on a day off to get the job done.
