The guy who installed our PodPoint, was very professional I don’t have a gripe with him at all - he was very good - I just feel that despite the huge cost of having it installed- we actually ended up doing what one would have called a pre site visit, all those photos requested - all the forms to fill in from our energy supplier, that we had to do. I know was all necessary before we could actually have it installed- however I think is a bit of a liberty, for the amount we actually had to have it installed- maybe you need to employ a bigger crew ?

Your administration function may well run like clockwork behind the scenes but from a customer perspective it is non-existent. I had no order acknowledgement despite paying the price of the unit with my order, I had no order number to refer to, I had no confirmation that my payment had been received and I had no feed back on progress or installation date. Not a good start. I then found Gail by luck rather than communication from PodPoint and she restored my trust. She knew what was going on, her reassurance was essential - without it I was about to cancel the order and ask Mastercard for my money back! Ben in the Home Charge department then picked up the pieces and from there on in the process went well and the installer Richard did an excellent job on both survey and installation. So PodPoint gets a medium rating from me but I’d the admin had been good it would have been 5 stars!!

The installer was efficient at his work however I had to do all the work in the attic as he refused to enter the attic saying he was not insured to do so. I wonder how he would have been able to install it if I didn’t pull the cable up into the attic and down into the junction box area. S Mochrie

This took an age to organise and there were several delays. Also I was asked a lot of complex questions which it was not simple to answer about bonding and power supply.

The experience was extremely long from ordering when payment is taken in full to instalation, the installation was good the chap very efficient. However 1 month after installing we have had issues with the pod point not working. Unable to contact via phone and no response from an email sent so very disappointing

The installatin was fantastic, and explained everything, put it where we wanted etc etc. But the booking of it and trying to answer all the questions and complete the order form was ridiculous. Credit to the installation guy though he was great! Credit to your company

Surprised to be told that me water supply needed to be 'earthed' - a further £300 on the installation charge - and wasn't offered the opportunity of a "tethered" connection

It took 2 months from order to actual Install. Several Phone calls too.Actual Install was so so, engineer arrived slightly early which was fine. He got on with the job at hand fine. He could be more helpful though with set up of the app I had to Call to find out about linking the unit to the app. The one good point about podpoint is that it was easy to get through to customer service

Lloyd the surveyor and installation engineer was fantastic and went above and beyond to help me find a solution that works with my unusual property. If I was just rating him as the overall experience it would be 5 stars However, my experience of the Podpoint office team Raymond the Podpoint PM in particular was completely different and I have nothing positive to say about the experience. I'm just glad the thing is now installed and hopefully I don't have to interact with Podpoint ever again.

I asked about the pod point lock when the charger was installed and was told it was lockable to find when he left there was no lock. Now causing a lot of hassle to get them to come back and put the lock in. The charger also has a fault and I have to reset it every time I use it.

The initial discussion was lengthening and rather frustrating because noone could come round to check the best way to set up. However the actual installation was excellent and the result is very satisfactory.

Installation was great, just time it took. Knowone attended for the first appointment 2 months after I had booked the Installation. The office team did arrange the second appointment as soon as they could.

It was ok. Cable in garage should of been properly pushed out of the way in the garage eves but was just laid in the middle of items in the eves. A lot of dust was left by the drill points.

The ordering and installation scheduling process have been appaling. Not only did I have to pay a handsome amount, but then you expect me to the works of a professional electrician alone? In fact, your website even suggests getting an electrical expert to provide you answers. How ridiculous! Then, your engineer fails to show up once, cancels a second time. Nonsensical. The only good thing has been that once we complained, your engineer turned up on time and installed the podpoint seemlessly and in a clean and efficient manner. 10/10 to him. 2/10 for the company and its process.

Very tidy job but he forgot to turn the pumping station switch back on after installing the charger. As I was not home only my kids this meant a call out from a local electrician to find out what the issue was. Simple fix but still he should have checked every thing was as he found it before leaving.
