The booking an appointment was a nightmare.I explained we needed an engineer to come in advance as our property was complicated but that never happened and when the engineer came to fit it on the appointment day 2 months after I’d paid he’d said we needed another part which he didn’t not have and would get sent by post and then we needed to rebook???? Eventually pod-point fitted not a smooth service.

Really a lot of a hassle to get an installation date. Felt like the onus was all on me to provide endless photos which I didn’t feel were looked at. Overall not a good experience. The engineer who did the installation was good but was unsure about the WiFi connectivity and said that he would rebook and install a ‘booster’ of some description. This didn’t happen and I was informed that it was down to me to ensure that it was operational.

PodPoint wall charge product is working as expected without any issues. The booking process was painless and the staff helped me work through all the forms. I have given the installation 1 star as it was completed QUICKLY. The quality of the installation was below my expectations. The installer stated the insulation snagged his drill and caused damage to the inside wall. Drilling from the inside of the house to the outside caused significant "burst-through" damage to the house wall which I warned the installer about. It is hidden by the wall charger. My suggestion; work slower, improve the quality. Lessons learned; just do two jobs in a day and not race through three.

My experience was lots of different forms to complete and a high number of emails. On the day of the installation i was expecting someone to be in touch prior to arrival (as per the email communication) and heard nothing until 2pm. The actual installation was quick and the engineer very helpful and professionl.

The whole process of getting the information and contacting Pod Point with information was far too difficult for a person untrained in providing electrical details. A site visit by a qualified engineer would have obtained all the details, photographs and other information in 30 minutes rather than the 4- 5 weeks taken sending emails.

I was disappointed that the pod point design has been changed to a cheaper looking unit without being notified. I requested a change to the old design but was ignored. This is never professional.

Installation absolutely fine, electrician very knowledgable and helpful. The low score is because having ordered and paid for the thing through my company, providing all the company details as part of the initial OLEV documentation, I'm now told by email "unfortunately we cannot address the invoice to your company's name" - so I have no VAT invoice. No idea why...

The engineer was courteous and he did the installation quick enough. But he left a mess. Dust all over the floor, PVC trimmings of the cable. And he also used our toilet facilities and didn't leave them in the condition in which he found them. This is not trivial.

The lead time wasn't too bad versus what I had seen posted and the actual installation was quick and easy but my podpoint was only working at half capacity from day one. After calling customer services and agreeing that the installer would come back out on the same day, I then get a call to say that he wasn't actually going to arrive. It was then the real problems started. I have to say it was a very frustrating experience getting hold of anyone in customer services who could actually help (it always seemed like it was another department's responsibility to deal with me whoever I got through to!). After numerous calls getting nowhere I then get an email to confirm an appointment a full month after the original installation! Installation = good. After sales = bad!

Payment was made upfront and there was no communication after this as to what the next steps were. We had to chase for an instillation date, which was over two months after the initial application. We also had to constantly chase for this.

There was a delay in messaging with the booking alignment to when the car was being delivered... I had 5 weeks with an electric car and no home charging facilities, therefore had to use charging stations at a higher cost and not that convenient when you're not planning long journeys. The fitter also left tools / even when requested to return WIFI tag (via text message) I didn't even get an acknowledgement of the text.... he just didn't return it or communicate.

Pod Point fit their homechargers in and day out. It would have been helpful if someone had called to discuss my use case when they reviewed the technical requirements because then I would have ordered the right model, rather than being stuck with one that isn't quite right. In all other respects, they were very helpful and efficient in fulfilling my order.

Very disappointing. I was originally given a date, then at short notice (the night before) had that day changed, then on the day of the second date, nobody came and I called up and was told ‘sorry, the previous job over ran’. That may have been the case but it would have been clear to the sub contractor that would happen far earlier. When the sub contractor did come, he was very good and very professional

Application process too involved and time consuming . You should also make it clear that full payment is taken immediately but installation will not be for two months

Long wait time appointment cancelled at last moment Pod point want all money up front are hard to contact if there’s a problem Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

To assess your own property when unqualified was a poor start. Then after staying in all day for installer at 3 pm I was told by email that he had contracted Covid. Very strange as at about 11am I spoke to a member of your staff who told me he was on his first job but she expected him to be with me by lunch time. My husband has complained but we have no reply as to what actually happened. I also asked several questions about whether our electric supply would be sufficient and was told its fine but maybe sometimes the light will go off. !!! Also we got cut off 4 times with different peopke from customer service. Nevertheless the final installer was excellent. He explained all well

Great engineer. But poor support during the overall process. I had to bring in an electrician to do a more complex cabling job in prep for Pod Point engineer to come; the guidance from Pod Point on what the engineer needed to do was entirely absent, leading to multiple calls, having to guess, etc. Also the responsiveness of the scheduling team was average at best.

The guy that fitted the pod was rude to my wife on arrival !! He ask her to move some bins then questioned her saying she was sarcastic !!! I was listening on our ring device! He then apologised to her. Not needed. His fitting was good.

Both times turned up before allotted appointment time, which is usually good, but when your not expecting a visit and then told the engineer doesn’t have time to wait around and aborts the first visit, isn’t really helpful. Had to wait a month for the next visit.
