Started ordering process for pod point 16/10, got an installation date of 16/12, not acceptable and caused me no end of problems finding public chargers to keep me topped up in the interim. Because of covid the survey was carried out by photo, installation technician not happy with location in the garage that id chosen and moaned throughout about installation. Really needed an on site survey to give advice before the installation.

I still find it strange that you have to pay upfront for a product that you have no idea when it will be installed. When installed, the cable was missing so not completed. I am still waiting for the new date for the job to be finished. I first ordered the unit back in August, its now the end of December.

The installation itself was fine, neat and professional job however the earliest appointment was 8 weeks, which meant despite ordering it 4 weeks before delivery of our new EV, we had to endure a month of slow charge with a 3 pin plug cable To be fair, they offered £50 credit as compensation however I would far rather have had the charger as several times I had to go to the inconvenience of driving to a charger and waiting so I could actually get to work and back. They clearly don't have enough installers and refused to sub the work to local qualified fitters. The charger was part of the deal with Vauxhall otherwise I would have used a competitor

The engineer who installed the Pod Point was excellent. The journey of ordering the pod point to installation took 10 weeks and was riddled with taking one week to respond to an email. To requests to send numerous photographs of the same thing. The cable run was complex because it needed to run under floors and through a loft cavity and I decided to have the cable installed prior to your engineers visit and ordered an extra 3 metre of cable for which I was charged extra. I thought this was appalling given the time saved by the engineer during the installation. I had asked for the cable to be delivered to my sons business as I was away on holiday. The cable was delivered to my home address and fortunately my neighbour took it in. The courier left no information by email or through the letterbox that the cable had been delivered.

Ordering online went ok, did feel left in the dark as all communication was via email which kept asking for more information and pictures. It was like a scrolling email which I struggled to attach photos and had to send separate emails which didn’t get answered with prompting. I did ask for a phone call to clarify requirements but I didn’t get one. After several emails and a visit from a local electrician it was decided that my initial installation location had to be changed. This was ok but started several more emails asking for more photos. A date was given for installation and I didn’t hear anything else until the installer turned up on the day. Installation went well.

Was a average installation I still have to make good the plaster walls from where he drilled it ,if he had ran a pilot drill first would have caused less damage Also rubbish left behind

Our experience with your service was very poor. I have sent a full explanation to your service management team and they acknowledged receipt, but I am yet to receive a satisfactory conclusion.

The installer left lots of mess and didn’t clear up after himself. Brick dust everywhere, all over wheelchair. Holes in walls not filled in. I had to clean it all up and being disabled this wasn’t easy. Reported it but not heard anything.

The installation by Brad Bird was excellent. The service by the groundworks team was excellent. Everything else was shocking. Delays, missed appointments and incorrect quotes.

The installer and installation were good, no problems there. BUT the pod point has only worked for 30 mins since it was installed and despite 2 phone calls and emails, I m still waiting to find when it will be fixed almost a week later. I've not heard a thing. So follow customer support is poor.

You asked for photos and descriptions of proposed installation, I included make and model of our consumer unit and the fact it was a 3 phase distribution board that required a C40 RCBO, the engineer turned up with nothing!!!! I had to source a RCBO 15 miles away and make the journey to collect it at my expense so the installation could be completed. I have paid £599 for a complete installation but it has ended up costing me an additional £46 for the RCBO. Not impressed.

Can’t register my podpoint on the app App – I am not able to see any of my details. All information is blanked out. Very difficult to navigate that way. How do I stop opportunists using my charger when I am at work? The charger is in my driveway but I can just see that someone will notice that there are gaps during the day when I am at work/ holiday and then charge their car for free? Perhaps a lock function with the app? I can create a workaround by scheduling my charger to only charge at night but is not ideal. I contacted podpoint (via app and email) more than a week ago and no reply

Sadly a really poor experience, very slow drawn out process with obstacles at every juncture. Utterly terrible after installation service with a matter I have contacted them about several times still not resolved.
