Really hard to book - endless photos needed and questions asked that a normal householder wouldn’t know. The wrong holster was sent and installed and I’m still waiting for someone to send a replacement as the team seem to have walked away from the job.

Charger is working and looks good on the wall, the app is fine, and the two guys that fitted the charger were great and they did a fantastic neat job. The purchasing process was very easy, but sadly after this things went downhill as there was no communication regarding booking a date for installation and I went months without hearing anything from them, I chased with calls and emails multiple times and spoke to many different people, until eventually I was given an installation date that was about four months after ordering. There didn’t appear to be good communication between different departments, however when I did get to speak to someone they were always very courteous, polite, and professional. So be aware that if your new electric vehicle doesn’t come with a 3-pin UK household plug then you may have to use public chargers for a few months before you can charge at home. This isn’t necessarily a huge problem depending on your situation, and I also wouldn’t really have minded waiting as long as I did for installation if they had just communicated with me and told me that they were busy, as I felt like I was kept in the dark and was never going to get a charger or see my money again, which was an unnecessary stress and marred an otherwise excellent experience.

The pod point itself is fine however the installation does not appear to have been done correctly and even though I have e-mailed PodPoint nobody has got back to me. We have 2 PodPoints and the 1st guy did all the hard work for the 2nd one to be installed at a later date and when the 2nd guy came along he has done completely the wrong thing and put additional electrical boards in that are simply not needed and it now looks ugly as hell and I've had another electrician say it is incorrect and he should have used the previous board that has an additional slot in ready for the one that is now on the outside of the electrical cupboard!

It took 5 months from buying the car to the Podpoint being fitted. It took months to get Audi and Podpoint to even send the appropriate forms. The requests for information from me was repeated numerous times, despite me having uploaded the appropriate information and photographs.

Very long time to be installed over 8 weeks - despite having paid upfront, very laborious application process, really asking me to do the assessment of an engineer by photo when an engineer should have come on site and made the assessment. it was still not a one stop process. I was asked to order a piece for the control board, but then a second one arrived from Pod. The engineers themselves - a different one each day, were very good, professional and did a good job.

Very disappointed overall and the delay in fitting the home charger. I paid for this on the 15th November 2021 and was only recently fitted.

Pod point still not operational, had my electrician out to check bonding said it was ok , car arrives in 3 weeks and I’ve no way of using it ! Need dealt with urgently!

Had to re-arrange the original installation date and was unable to secure another until 3 weeks later. Promising installer, very friendly however after installation I laterly had intermittent electrical power to the whole house for 72 hours until an electrician could locate the fault that was tripping my electrics, only to find the cause was the insecure installation of the pod point. Had to pay an emergency electrician for 3 visits over the 72 hours to resolve!

Intended instal date of 17.12.21 cancelled without any communication - I only found out when I rang at 11 am to see if anyone would be attending before midday ((8 to 12 appt) Reappointed for 26.1.22 - installer arrived and did a good job - but did not instal a lockable podpoint as requested as his job sheet only requested a pod point that was not lockable. I have contacted the organisation by phone and email - phone has achieved quicker response but some email queries take a lot longer

The installation was good, but the application for the installation was a nightmare. Instead of requesting specific details they needed they sent blanket requests for everything again and again. When one is anxious to get the pod-poit installed the delay was very stressful.

Found there to be huge delay in installation. Extra costs involved for groundworks. Ended up with point in garden and purchased longer charing cable. Eventually installed point. Lad who installed was great and really happy with point despite initial disappointment

Now it is installed it works well though the journey to achieving that is disappointing. It's difficult to connect by phone, appointment times are span many hours requiring long periods of waiting around and the technician was unable to fit the equipment on first visit as the operative had misread the details sent when booking. The subsequent technician then told us we could have had a higher whattage output and we should have been told by the first visit!!

Podpoint was installed 'free' as part of the purchase agreement of my car, podpoint didn't bother to make contact for over a month after initial order & until after I gave the car dealership a very specific deadline of canceling my order for the new car as the podpoint was part of the deal. Once contacted, instructions for photos that were required weren't clear which resulted in email tennis. Install went well and no issues since installed.

Pod point home charger would not work after installation - I have wasted a lot of time carrying out checks and contacting pod point to achieve a resolution. I ordered a lock on my pod point but there is no indication or explanation how this works. So far the 3 pin plug has performed better.

The installation went fine and I was impressed with the quality of the installation. However, the communication from Podpoint was consistently poor. I had to chase the company for a confirmed installation date. I am still waiting for confirmation of a refund for unused cable that I was asked to pay for up front. Podpoint said they’d speak to the engineer and that was on 18th January. Please call me to explain this.

The pod point installed has not worked correctly we have had to report it. Very inconvenient as we would like to charge the car fully at home so that we can go on long journeys. It only charges to a certain point then stops. We are currently awaiting an engineer.

Poor given as second visit was Required as no banjo was fitted to the gland on the armoured cable therfore when fitted to the metal consumer unit the earthing arrangements were not adequate or compliant with 18th Edition. (There was no gland fitted on the armoured cable entry in to the pod point charging box.)

Upon ordering, Pod Point requested further information to support grant application, when submitted we did not receive a response for over a week, upon chasing progress, I was informed the format of the file was wrong and asked to resend, this delayed installation by at least 1 week. Additionally, the system did not operate after installation, diagnosed as a faulty ‘energy clip’, so installer had to revisit to replace. During this time the output of the charger was reduced and Pod Point had to be chased twice to return to normal following repair. Overall happy with the product, customer service requires improvement.
