The experience was OK but not that great. After ordering, there was pin drop silence from pod point and I wasn’t given any installation date. I had to call them after a week to check if they had everything they need. It was then they booked me an installation date. I was expecting to get a date with a chaser. However, once I was given a date, everything else after that went smooth.

The ordering and scheduling process was a nightmare. A series of email bookings and no direct communication. Unreturned phone calls and call back requests. Eventually, managed to get this sorted by talking direct with the installation team (never heard anything from the sales team other than automated emails). The installer was absolutely fabulous. Kept me informed of what was going on. Timescales for each stage of the work and was very professional. In general a very polite and considerate chap. If one criticism exists, it’s that he didn’t have immediately available any ID to verify who he was and who he worked for - but we got there. Overall, very impressed with this installer. Top marks.

Cannot fault Stephen the installer. Lovely guy and a very tidy job. Explained to me exactly when electricity etc would go off as I work from home and require wifi. However, the start of the process and communication regarding installation was appalling. I emailed a complaint and finally received a telephone call with an apology and installation date. Rated 3 due to experience with installer who brought score up!

The lead up to installation sending photograph after photograph even after all required work was complete was very stressful. The actual installation was excellent.

The Engineer was brilliant and patient. BUT twice he was not given the right parts to complete the job. It took three visits over 3 weeks to finally get a working installation, then the security lock was almost not fitted until reminded by me.

Need an explanation on using my smartphone with the podpoint. Doing it all manually and driving me mad guide not helpful at all.

Ordering delivery and fitting was smooth and organised, the difficulties lie in the after sales, getting a phone number is the first challenge, then queuing for an hour to get through, getting cut off and starting all over again. Try on line and it’s anybody’s guess when you will get a reply. Meanwhile stuck at home with no car to use.

Mixed experience, first installation attempt did not go ahead as ‘couldn’t be done’. Then after much back and forth over calls and emails I had to purchase additional breakers for my consumer unit & surge protector - in short I think the installer just wanted to go home. The re-scheduled date was changed at short notice meaning further disruption with getting time off work. The second installation was the polar opposite the installer was friendly and did a great job, as per the original plan without needing the additional parts which I now have floating around without purpose. I’m happy with the product and app the is great to use, the first installation experience has made me drop my rating as I spent money on stuff I didn’t need and had to take another day of unnecessary annual leave. If you look at the photo, how could have it ever been too hard to achieve on the first go? Thank you to the second installer who was the polar opposite in both competence & customer relations (he would get 5 stars).

It was disappointing that a check that needed to be made with National Grid added a delay that felt unavoidable as POd point didn't identify the requirement until after we had paid for the service The POd Point employee that carried out the actual installation was excellent

The pod point is great BUT there is lack of coordination between the office and the engineers. We had two different engineers that came and both needed to do a survey because the first survey was not passed on. We also found it difficult to get all the information that was needed for an easy installation.

To book a slot took a long time, emails got replied to after so many days, even called many times and left messages, no reply. Installation day was fine, explained everything.

Actual installation was quick and smooth and installer very helpful but they hadn’t reviewed my pre-installation questionnaire/photos so hadn’t brought a part required for my fuse box so the first day was a waste of my time having to take the day to stay in and the installers and a second installation day had to be arranged. This would have been completely avoidable if they had bothered to review what they tell you is essential for us to take the time to fill out prior to installation being arranged. Pod has been great since installed.

I found it very hard to do the survey for the installation, i can't believe the company is still hiding behind Covid restrictions, unfortunately, Covid is here to stay and we have to get back to normal as a country.

Installation was scheduled from 11:00 - 16:00hrs although The installer turn up at the property at 8:30 am. Installation was planned and done well . Installer was kind enough to explained the instructions on the usage and Wi-Fi.
