Your fitter was brilliant, knew the job inside out and was a pleasant Guy. He is certainly the reason I have given you the Acceptable rating. Absolute nightmare getting to the fitting stage.

No link sent for form. Tried to change installation date but no response. Turned up anyway. The installer who turned up however was excellent and left all tidy. End result very nice

The installation went ok although I would have preferred having the option to have the data cable inside the house, given I already had building work inside to easily wire the cable to the box. The other issue is installer couldn’t connect via WiFi despite moving my router outside, a few meters away. I was told to follow the instructions & download the app to do it myself. Downloaded app and it’s not accepting my password. Reset password with ‘forgot password’ option but still can’t login. Called pod point but they’re only open Monday to Friday. Logged a ticket via website and awaiting call back to fix the issue.

Whilst the installation itself, carried out by a sub- contractor, was a smooth operation, the communication from Pod Point was very poor. The only direct contact I had with the company was when they collected payment and tried to sell me a more expensive unit. From order to installation took 6 weeks. Prior to installation I was required to submit a large amount of technical information in the form of photographs and a site plan. This needed to be sent twice to two different arms of Pod Point suggesting poor linkage between different sections of the company.

The experience would have been better if I had been sent a link when promised.I had to phone to get a link which when it was given only I found the web page was no longer being used by p/p.

The initial install was pushed back due to an issue with the engineer on the day suffering an injury which is understandable. On the day the of the install the engineer was very good and explained all on the day. There was however an issue whereby I had paid for the Surge Protection unit but it was not installed on the day and was not on the technician's paperwork to install. Also my solar panel array is now not working whereby I will need to arrange for a solar technician to come and resolve the issue.

The installation was done very well on the day the engineer was very helpful and professional. The only issues I had was at the per installation review, the communication was from the office was very poor. To the fact I had to miss two days work because engineer was book twice but no show. I had to keep calling to find out when the work was going to be completed

Once fitted it is fine. Installation took 5 hours! Several minor issues took along time to resolve

The guy that fitted our pod point was absolutely excellent. The purchase was very easy but the customer service/communication after pod point took the cash was really poor. No acknowledgement of the property pics or any installation eta. Customer left wondering where they are in the process. Some automated confirmations etc would go a long way! pod point was installed within a week and after unsettling radio silence I was contacted the day before installation.

The fitter left without telling me so I was unable to ask him how I put our 2 pods on my app. Please get someone to call me and explain over the phone asap

The process was mainly fine. I was not happy with the initial installation visit as the contractor did not appear keen to undertake the work and found fault with the water bonding. Had he taken a few minutes to lift a (loose) floorboard, he would have seen that the supply pipe was plastic and no bonding was needed. We incurred additional costs, calling in an electrician, to demonstrate this. The second installation visit was also unsuccessful as the contractor arrived without the charging unit. However, sensibly, he installed most of the cabling so that the third visit finally installed the charger.

Mixed review. Despite the many photos, videos and emails exchanged, Pod Point made a mistake which delayed the installation by around 4 weeks. Still waiting for news regarding the discount I should have got by being a customer of EdF. Once the installer came and had the right equipment, the installation went well and without issue.

The process of getting a charger flitted was not straightforward. I had to keep phoning the company to get installation completed as I would hear nothing from them for several days. In the end it took 5 weeks before completion.

It was not explained at all that it could take 5 weeks to get the job done. The other annoying thing was even on the day of my first appointment I also got an automatic apology and I thought it was cancelled. This led me to believe I was not on any order list. However my technician up as booked and again later to finish the job. He was great and a credit to podpoint. If there was better comm’s it would have been great.

Electrian wasn’t very knowledgeable. Didn’t understand our Oil Boiler, gave us a wrong surge reading and cost us extra expense and additional time to right a false positive l.

First stage was a drag and slow. Once an installer came to survey the property properly, everything was great.
