The person who installed it was good, though it would have helped if we had been informed by the central office organising appointments that he was delayed due to an emergency!

The actual installation of the pod point I couldn't fault, a first class service. The contact with your office was terrible if I could have gone to another one I would have.

The service on the day was excellent. That service is 5 stars. The service before hand was very poor. I was informed on the morning of the planned installation that my service was not going to happen that day. That caused me a lot of inconvenience and meant that I took time from my work office unnecessarily. That service is 1 star. I would have expected some form of compensation for my trouble but that didn’t happen. I won’t be recommending Pod Point to others.

Engineer very good with good explanations, neat and tidy work, on time, good communications. Need better non technical info for potential customers on web site or someone who can talk you through what fuse box etc you need for each type of charger.

Had a few problems to begin with as this should have been fitted 4 weeks ago. However, the final engineer worked hard and done a good job in appalling weather conditions. The job looks professional, very tidy and the charger works a treat. He was a polite person who explained what he was doing but was prepared to discuss any changes if necessary. Well worth the wait in the end.

Alex from scheduling was very polite and listened and accommodated to my date availability. Mohammed the installer came in the middle of the allotted slot, he was very polite, professional and did a very neat job.

Main issue was no contact in 3 weeks after paying so I had to chases up. Fitter arrived without some fittings and we had to provide them. Fitter did a good job.

Installation was efficient. Installer was friendly and polite. But installer hadn’t turned up on the booked day, and it was not explained in advance the the longer cable would be blue rather than black.

Eventually I have had the pod point charger fitted but not without missed appointments and a number of call a by me to pod point to get the engineer to my property to fit.

My experience has been a mixed affair, two appointments where the engineer did not show followed by one where the scheduled time was so late in the day that the job could not be completed due to failing light, despite the engineers best efforts to work by torch light. The last appointment did see the completion of my pod point installation to a high standard of neatness and satisfaction. Having paid the extra £125 for a 7kw charger and lock I was offered a refund of the extra cost for the charger (£95) as a goodwill gesture for the loss of holiday/earnings but as yet I have not received this. On the plus side the two engineers Brandon and Geoff were excellent. Courteous, professional and adaptable with a difficult installation. Muhammad in operations was suitably apologetic and tried his best to rectify what was initially a comedy of errors. Thankfully we are now in the position to enjoy our EV which we love and hopefully this was just an isolated case.

The staff were all friendly and the fitting neat, there were however two or three things that let them down. After waiting around 4 weeks for the fitting, the electrician informed us that he would require additional ducting to fit the socket and didn't have time to go and get some, so we'd be contacted to pay an additional charge. I didn't hear anything so messaged them 2 weeks later and was required to pay £65 and went back to the end of the 4 week queue. My view of the ducting issue is that it was because the electrician had been given an estate car (Overlander phev) rather than a van so didn't leave spare ducting in the vehicle all the time (I have provided this feedback to POD Point). It would also have been nice to have skipped the 4 week wait the second time. Not related to the service, but the box is pretty ugly and had the car dealer not paid for the installation I would probably have gone elsewhere.
