The expected time for the appointment was 11-2. I accepted this and booked an appointment elsewhere for 3pm. The original confirmation said "job will take ~ two hours" At 12:15 I phoned to check when the fitter would appear. After a bit of chasing around I was told "he's on his way". I cancelled my other appointment and the guy turned up at 2:30. So the booking and adherence to agreed time was 1/10. Very frustrating. * The guy was excellent I'd give him 10/10. He explained what he needed to do. He understood what I explained about out electrics, and changed from what he had expected to do, to an installation that matched our circumstances. His work was neat, well-finished. He then explained the set up, again in a clear understandable manner. He also explained that he usually had two installs in a day, but today he had three which was why he was late. * So in summary, the man in the van was great, the order management of things was disappointing. It must have been known that my 11-2 wasn't going to be realistic once the engineer was given two installs before mine. That this forced me to miss an appointment was unacceptable.

POD is a bit big yet the cable too short to reach my car when reversed onto drive which is a disappointment.

Actual installation was fine, issue was the long wait followed by an additional week's delay because the engineer was sick.

The engineer that attended was exceptionally polite and accomodating. He was thorough in his work and did a great job. However I should think that the most constructive parts for you would be how POD point made me UNHAPPY!? In which case I would say that your call lines are a bit of a joke. Nobody answering the phone for days. Then finally getting an escalated complaint dealt with by Mohammed to be assured I would be the first appointment of the day, but that I would have to wait over 3 weeks for the installation. Only I wasn't the first appointment of the day and ended up VERY late for work because of this. Not only that but I called for over 40 minutes in the morning trying to get hold of someone to find out where the engineer was, only to get the answer machine. Finally getting through all they could do is apologise. (doesn't help me get back the money I lost at work). Finally multiple hours later I get a call back for the messages I had been leaving? Surely they should be your first priority over new callers?? Anyway, overall with the exception of the man who came to install my system, a VERY poor show.

Arranging an appointment for the engineer to come was easy and stressfree. However, it was rather stressful on the day as the engineer was very new to the job and didn't know some vital information. He should really have been accompanied by someone more experienced for supervision. We haven't yet used the pod so we don't yet know if it is working as it should.

Due to apparently a scheduling error the installer turned up at 4pm our given appointment time was 8-10. We were also not warned that our system needs uprating before it can operate at full power.

Bit of a delay in the installation taking place, a period of a week without any response from PodPoint but several chases later and we got there in the end. The Installer was a contractor who came all the way to Northampton from Lincoln. He was bang on time and installed the pod really quickly. He seemed to know his stuff ref PodPoint despite not being employed by them so over all a good experience.... Just hope it works now...

Engineer arrived just before the end of the visit window, but was happy for a neighbour to sign off the work, as we had to leave half an hour after he arrived. Seems to have done a good job. I've connected the podpoint to our wifi system, but wondered why we needed to do that? Are we able to switch on our podpoint remotely, and check energy usage?

Communications was very poor,answer the phone,reply to emails,reply to messages left.It,s a pity the office staff are not as good as the fitters.

The installer was super. Turned up on time, and did a great job installing the charging point and then explaining how to use it. The installer would be rated 5 stars. I cannot say the same about the customer services team responsible for getting to this point- they would barely scrape a single star. The process leading up to this point was extremely poor and painful. Waiting endlessly on the phone (only for it never to be answered), messages never responded to, and once I had paid, there was no attempt for them to schedule an appointment for installation. They are clearly understaffed and not coping with the demand for installing electric charging points. I would not be recommending them.

Arrived early and did what was required. Left a mess which we had to clear up though which wasnt ideal. Could have tidied up after himself.
