I wasn’t able to be at home to welcome / oversee the installation but my childminder was there. I was disappointed that the pod has been installed on the side of the house rather than in the garage as had been discussed. The workmanship is not impressive; we will move the pod around the corner of the house which will free up cable so we can run the cable lower on the wall to make it less conspicuous.

Technicians were very proffessional especially Micheal the electrician who signed the work off, he fully explained the workings of the Pod Point.

Engineer was very good, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. However, disappointed that after starting use the Podpoint, the key lock is not working properly. The whole barrel rotates. Disappointed with such a quality failure so soon.

First booking was aborted when fitter arrived because he had not received the pictures of the garage and didn’t have the right kit. Second booking went fine although the team failed to cleanup the dust/mess caused by drilling and the parts they needed weren’t delivered on time so the installation took most of the day. Outcome great - journey a bit bumpy

Andrew Wilkinson who installed the pod was very friendly and helpful. During the ordering of the pod I wasnt made aware that I needed to buy a cable lead seperate. This meant that when Andrew arrived I didn’t have a cable to charge the car which defeated the object of putting in a pod today. However Andrew has lent me his while I order one. I find this unacceptable as a new customer that I wasnt given this information when ordering pod. Its a lot of information to take in all at once.

Ian the engineer who did the installation was excellent, prompt, helpful and clearly a talented tradesman. However, the process of ordering, sending photo's which failed since must be a mailbox size limit (not communicated) thus neither side aware of what was happening leading to months of delay, and the bureaucratic process of paying for excess cable before knowing how much is required, i.e. from a guestimate, surely a card payment number could be taken ahead of time and billed for the additional materials.

Installation was fantastic. The process between ordering and installation was not as good as it should have been. I had to be proactive to ensure it happened.

Bottom line is that it works - excellent! But the installation was delayed & disorganised, requiring two visits, and the end result could look better.

The installer (Lee) was terrific. The over all experience was less so. Poor directions regarding what a normal vs a custom install was on your www site. My installation was delayed by 3 weeks

Engineer was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Shame the same couldn't be said for the staff taking the booking. Took 3 weeks to even get a fitting date and I had to chase them up constantly to get that! The other down side was finding out I couldn't get the full 7kw charge from the unit and was restricted to 3.7kw. Something that was never mentioned as being a possibility and may well have been a deciding factor in purchasing an electric car.

Fitted pod point and advised on what was required. Although it took alot of back and forth with the engineer to get it actually installed after mentioning it may not be possible to install with a broken meter cover (even though in the pictures i sent over it clearly shows it was damaged) but was not advised this over the phone. 3 hour installation (excluding running cable was it was already ran by myself) seemed a little too long.

The engineer was prompt and texted in advance of arrival. Was courteous and friendly. I talk a lot and he was happy tonengage in conversation and answered many of my questions. Unfortunately my neighbour who works nights complained about the drilling so Scott was happy to leave and came back much later when my neighbour had gone to work. Thank you for being accomodating.
