The fitter was excellent, friendly and very efficient. Great experience. Unfortunately the wrong unit was fitted. I have reported this a couple of times and struggling to get the unit replaced with the correct one sadly. Please help.

Frustrating end when had to constantly chase for my final invoice. Emails were ignored and promises made on calls that never happened. Soured the experience and would now not recommend pod point. The one positive was the installation, excellent job!

Requested the latest Podpoint Solo 3 and was told if the engineer had one on his van this would not be a problem but it was and had to install old version after been refused by same Podpoint employee who assured me it would be no problem!

Installer was great but as my wifi was poor he couldn't get the charge point talking to the wifi. I have a booster now but can't seem to get a reply to my emails from PODPOINT.

Quite frustrating wait times along with an issue around looped supply which was not picked up on prior to the visit. When left with no home charging options for 6 weeks I had no assistance or advice from Pod Point. I would advise you thoroughly check out your supply, I was fortunate that approval was given without the need to unloop. This is quite common and was not mentioned at any point until the engineer arrived. The installation was excellent, no mess and he liaised with us throughout the process for location etc.

The fitting of my pod point was the best part of this experience trying to organize it was a nightmare canceling on the morning of fitting and the system not accepting other dates needs looking at.

Feel a bit short changed after ordering my podpoint and informing you that my car wasn’t arriving until March 2022. You gave me less than 24 hours notice that you wanted to install the next day ( probably because you had a cancellation in the area) I like a fool said okay and cleared the garage that evening. Now because I allowed the podpoint to be fitted early I lose 3 months warranty as the unit is not going to be used for at least 3 months. When I explained this to your customer relations chap I was told virtually tough not their problem. Thanks podpoint.

The process of ordering from Pod Point is entirely online - if like me you don't really know what you're doing then perhaps consider other suppliers, at least then if you still decide to go with Pod Point then you might be better served to make educated decisions. I ended up with a charge point without a fixed Type 2 (look at me with my EV knowledge now!) cable - I did order a lock and a cable holster (for parking the fixed Type 2 cable I wrongly mistook as being a part of charge points. After a few to and fro emails and finally turning to Twitter, I finally got a reply to my dissatisfaction in that Pod Point offered to refund me the cost of the holster (which with the current charge point is useless). I gave up in the end. Timely communication I have found is not a strength of Pod Point. The installation went well thankfully.

I had decided on a pod point solo for its neatness, reliability, ID3 forum feedback, partnership with VW and Tesco. It ticked all boxes. Its a good product. Dealing with pod point however was not the experience I expected. Too much to go into here but slow to respond to emails, not very helpful. Since install I emailed a query over and as expected. Into a black hole.

Engineer arrived and was very polite, installed where we wanted and looked very neat outside, after engineer went we noticed that one of the walls in our hallway had lots of black hand print marks up it not even on the wall the work was done on, was disappointed that the engineer did not highlight to us that he had done this, had to paint the whole wall after he had gone.

The ordering process and everything leading up to the installation was quite poor. The customer service was shocking especially from the point that they take the money. They want you to complete on line surveys for the install which is quite difficult as you have to do all in one go and take pictures of all sorts. For the amount of money you have to pay, I would have preferred a site visit. All the correspondence was being emailed to someone else and not me. Despite being told by me and the 3rd party they were emailing, this kept happening. So for this part they should have got 1 star. However the install was outstanding. The engineer was very polite and explained everything clearly. He knew exactly what he was doing and kept me informed. Excellent workman ship and he would get 5 stars.

Despite sending all the pictures and information requested, three visits were required spanning over roughly a month were required to get the charging point installed. I have only rated the experience as acceptable because the last technician who came was very helpful.

There seems to be an initial Pod Point communication problem, including emails addressed to Pod Point Support and the CEO, which fail to get a response! However, once this is overcome, the purchase process, scheduling and installation have gone well.

Booking process was fine and instructions on how to use good. However, a lot of dust left for me to clear up and some rough workmanship with hole filling

The build up to having the item installed was a nightmare. As a single lady with no clue on electrics I felt the survey was too complicated. Please make this easier for your customers. On the flip side the guy who came to install was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. He made a great job of it, neat and tidy.

Installer was very calm and friendly. Quite neat installation. However, the main fuse box is now slightly boxed in and cannot be fully opened. However, ever since the installation there has been a smell of gas. The gas engineer has cut off my supply and said that it was coming from a joint in the gas meter. He and I can only assume that the meter was given a bit of a dunt during the installation. This is now going to cost me quite a bit to get repaired.

The whole process was ridiculous. Email after email, sending photos of walls, meters, stopcock. Was told we needed an electrician to come in and do work, so we employed someone to come and followed the instructions we were emailed. Was a big job but was done ready for Pod Point to come and install the actual pod point. This was over a few weeks. When the Pod Point electrician came, he couldn't believe what we had been asked to do before he arrived. He said we didn't have to have done everything we did. I showed him the email they had sent and he said it was ridiculous. The electrician sent by Pod Point was really good and was very polite and cleaned up after himself.
