The ordering process and communication possibilities leading up to the installation were very frustrating. But once that was all sorted out (it seemed to take a few weeks) the actual installation was very good. The engineer was excellent and very helpful.

it took a long tome to book a slot. numerous photos and then we had to get our own electrician to run the cable, before your electrician connected to the mains

The installation was first class but the scheduling was haphazard as we we notified twice the day before installation that it had to be rescheduled. Both times weeks later. If it had been postponed a third time, we would have cancelled the installation and we had to be available on the specified day which took a lot of organisation on our part.

On the plus side:- The installation went smoothly, though afterwards I wished I’d asked the installer to demo how to use it. The charger works as expected. Received electrical certificate ok. On the downside, Somehow a cable I did not intentionally ask for got included in my order. I messaged to say I didn’t want it as soon as I noticed and got a reply that they’d contact me about it but they didn’t. Then the cable arrived at my house. The installer wouldn’t take it back. I’ve had to send it back at my expense and so far not heard anything further. Happy with the charger. Very unhappy about the cable business.

Installation was fine but I never got an answer to my question. I sent the questions and after 5 days a reminder then another reminder a further 5 days later but never got a reply. The result was I ended up without being able to upgrade the pod-point to one with a cable atta Jed which I want I wanted.

The actual installation was fine Very difficult doing initial paperwork all over internet and sending photos as no one coming to check things due to Covid. Pod point was actually installed 1 week earlier than first told due to a cancellation which was very good for us

The initial ordering and final delivery of the installation was delivered extremely effectively and to a high standard. However the service process once the initial documentation was completed was appalling. The communication process regarding installation appointments was none existent. After the initial contact I fell into a void, requiring me to email, use the contact page and several phone calls, with long times on hold, before an appointment was made.

The actual installation was fantastic - Jordan was fast, diligent, expert and clean (vacuumed as he went along). Scheduling the survey and installation appointments was the opposite - slow and unresponsive, took months and required several escalations.

The actual installation is a five star. The mechanism and the hoops and hurdles that I had to jump through to get it on the administrative side was absolutely abysmal. That being said I don’t actually think that it’s the fault of pod point though the actual procedure could be streamlined. I’ve got two chargers and it was a nightmare trying to get both of them installed but I have to say, it was worth it in the end. The actual staff at pod point are extremely helpful and friendly but it’s just the process that you have to go through to get it that is highly disappointing.

All the staff on the phone were extremely polite and very helpful but it took 2 months to install my Pod Point from the day you had all the information to carry it out and my E mails to inquire when you were coming to fit it did not receive a response and telephone calls assured me someone would contact me but no one ever did.On the day of installation the engineer failed to turn up and I wasted a whole day waiting for him. It was finally fitted two days later when you had to get an engineer from Kent to do the job which was done efficiently.

The installation process was ok but the first date I was given for installation nobody turned up or contacted me. I waited in all day. The second date they emailed me to cancel and finally they managed to install on the third date.

The agreement of where the unit and wiring would go (pre-installation) was not followed. Installer was good but I'm still waiting for the company to make good on the damage that was left (and that's 6 weeks on)….

The installation itself was excellent. The installer was prompt, efficient and a very friendly and helpful. Dealing with Pod Point was not always easy. I get the impression the company wants the customer to do most of the preparation. From photographs to measurements. A brief visit by a company representative could have sorted all the preparations and answer questions. I now realise I should probably have a key lock but the benefit before installing was not explained. My wifi was not strong enough to set up the pod to the internet, so I have had to have an upgrade and set up the pod to the internet myself.

Actual installation was very smooth, online process was ok, but a lot of back and forth to confirm everything and quite specific requirements.

Been a long time waiting for installation application started and paid for on 30th aug to be told in sept I have to fit cable from fuse box to outside of wall. They sent cable to fit mid sep, now have wait until end of oct to get box fitted !!! STILL WAITING
