Lengthy Questionnaires and taking photos beforehand were unnecessary. However when installer came he was very efficient and helpful. Finished the work in no time and gave good explanation of how to use.

The installer was helpful in deciding where to place the Pod Point. Fitting seemed to have been carried out professionally. I am, however, finding that the App does not always record usage?

unit fitted well. 7 months on faulty. have been weeks trying to sort out. now only charging at 3.7 kw - should be 7.2 kw. slow response and only on email. do they have telephones ??

Now it’s working, all seems good. After they installed it, it would not work(kept popping the RCB when I initiated a charge) until an engineer eventually came out to repair the installation and found the RCB could not cope with current drawn and replaced it.

At the end of the day, everything necessary seems to have been done. But the process was a bit bumpy. Perhaps due to covid, Pod Point support staff were not always as proactive and informed as they might have been, which meant I had to chase them up several times to get action or to get a note saying what they were waiting for. Pod Point's form filling was careless, eg my name and address were not 100% correct. This may cause problems obtaining the grants. This review form is similarly not quite polished. I communicated by email, but had to phone to get an actual response. Why can't I select both email and phone? Response time varied: why is there no button below for any time between 12 hours and over a week? It did end OK, but definitely room for improvement.

charging slow , even after 14 hours battery charges for 150 -170 miles. I was told that expected charging is 15 miles per hour. Also pre installation a specific enquiry was made for car and model, not sure what was the point if a general charger was to installed.

My emailed questions were not answered and had to go to my vehicle supplier for this. The installation agent did not appear content in his work

Installation went well on the day. Found out later that consumer unit for charger should not have been installed in meter box. Not enough room for smart meter.

The fitter was brilliant - a star - and if I could rate only him, I’d give the process 10 out of 5 But then there is the rest. Not at all easy it’s due to Covid you need to do your own survey. And to do that you need electrical knowledge. And all of this after you’ve paid - so being pot clueless just leads you on an endless trail of frustration - and they do like to email you and remind you So if I could rate this bit it’s a -10 out of 5 - no support, even after I explained I didn’t know a 6mm cable from a breaker switch from a national grid connection

The handling of the order was perfect. However the 3rd party fitter was 4 hours later and I had no way of contacting him to understand when he'd arrive (called head office and was through to a call centre who couldn't help). He left a mess outside the house. Shame the installation didn't care and attention wasn't matched by the fitting. A simple text to say I'll arrive at between x and y was all that was needed.

Easy payment followed by a difficult contractual and installation process. Paid for lockable cap which has not been supplied and no refund issued

The actual installation was fine except for the problem with running the cables. The fact I live in a bungalow and the position for the podpoint charger was 12 metres from the consumer unit meant the cables had to be run through the loft (preferable to drilling holes through internal walls and having the cables surface mounted). The organisation informed me they don't do lofts, so it was up to me to run them. This is the reason I have stated the experience is only worth 3 stars.

Unfortunately the installation required two visits at what we believe was a very simple task. The pod did not work at all after the first technician had left and another visit was organised. The second visit was supposed to be for around an hour but it was actually far longer than that. Not a very satisfactory experience.

Had to wait 9 weeks to be fitted, although this was taken out of pod points hand as we had to wait for the the electric board to give permission. Was kept informed by email by pod point at all times or explain the wait

We had to pay upfront then there was a 2-3 week delay while they decided they needed to do a survey. The day of survey they said they would come 8-11 am and finally came at 5pm. There was very poor communication about this from Pod Point. The engineer who came was excellent and apologetic (he was not from Pod point) . The actual installation was very efficient.

The installation was timely and appears to be effective. I am still waiting however after 5 weeks for the associated paperwork.

The electrician was very nice but took a long time. I wanted the pod put in a different spot but he seemed to think it would be best where he wanted to put it. It needs moving, and just needs a bit more cable and it will be perfect. At present it does not link up to our internet system ROG24. Perhaps you could either arrange this or ring me direct. Thank you.

There was a bit of confusion and frustration after the day we were told couldn't happen as the engineer had personal issues. Told different days after that. We were not happy with the delay. But now its done and we are happy.
