The engineer that came out eventually to do the survey and fit the pod was excellent. However, my dealings with Pos Point both before and subsequent to (I am still awaiting a response to a query I logged 5 days ago) were poor. It takes too long to get a response if, indeed, you get a response at all. I know that this will be fobbed off with excuses about Covid but you certainly have enough capacity to take your customers money quickly and efficiently.

Installation was quick and easy but disappointed that the installer couldn’t pair the pod point with my App. Have tried to pair with app 5-6 times and still not pairing.

The process appeared to be straight-forward and the engineer on the first visit was very pleasant and seemed to know his stuff. Unfortunately despite the extensive survey I carried out he had to visit a second time and install some extra parts at an additional cost. This was pretty disappointing when the cost I thought was high in the first instance.

Having to complete what is a fairly complicated site issue was annoying. This should have been done by Pod Point. The cost which is relatively high should cover this. Not all people have the IT ability required to forward photos and adjust their size as there is a limit to the total file size that can be transmitted. Lack of detailed analysis was obvious.

It wasn't the best experience I have ever had. Right from the word go on ordering there were many hurdles. We kept being emailed by a junior who didn't seem to be experienced enough to deal with this. Because no one would come out and assess where we required the Pod point to be located we sent endless photographs and explantations. Only to be told we had to find our electrician to do the work, which we did causing us extra expense which was already expensive and some of the things we paid for were redundant IE the cabling we required to lay around the side of the house to the pod location. I sent an email asking if we were entitled to any refund and I was sent no reply. Which I find very unprofessional. The installer managed to drill through the wall and into our soil pipe from one of our upstairs bathrooms without surveying the outlay of the house, so we had to call an emergency plumber to come and repair the pipe, but are now left with two gaping holes in our walls which need to be repaired. We have forwarded the plumbing repair to the company who installed the pod and now have to find a plasterer/decorator to come and repair the two walls which will be dealt with in due course.

Installation and pre installation all great. However it didnt work -I rang the helpline and it had a schedule function on it apparently which I didnt know about and had to ring up and get it activated - now all good.

Initially, the experience of ordering, whilst laborious, was explained well enough. Then had an issue with scheduling and there was a break down in communication because Podpoint seem to think e-mail is guaranteed (It isn't) and didn't follow up via a phone call because "They were busy". However, eventually all sorted and the installation itself was very well executed.

Unfortunately the instruction on what's needed before installing the charger was not clear. I was under the impression that I need to have external wiring to install the charger. Thus was not yhe case. I could have saved £250.

Install was good at the end but the problem was that my whole house had no power as the main (house fuse 100A) was blown. So I just want to make/keep a record of this just in case I have problems in the future with my power cabling

The installer due to0 come on 27th june did not come and did not let me know until4 pm after i had phoned yourselves. another installer came on 29th june and seemed to be very efficient until the next day when he rang to say that the original installer would come on30th june to do a small procedure. he did not come.I am therefore confused as to what was supposedly outstanding.

Very helpful but a lot of messing about with all different things that we needed that we were not aware of before the pod was put in it hasn’t been used yet as my car is now 10 months behind being delivered! Nice people all in all

The installation and installer were excellent - PodPoint’s communication and customer service are appalling however. Enquiries after the order was place was met with silence. Just a recognition that the order was in hand would been something.

It took a while to get the pod point installation location determined. We were hoping to have it in the garage but the electrical supply needed upgrading. We have it outside now connected to the meter box.

Ordered the POD on Friday and it was installed on Monday. Installation went well, however, had to call support as the charge stopped after a few minutes. It turned out that there is a schedule that needs to be managed to change it from 12am-7am, so was a bit annoying that this was not explained. We also asked whether the power board needed to be notified and was advised no, however, I have had conflicting information that this is a legal requirement. I have a ticket open with your support team to confirm whether this is the case or not.

Installation team great, but the administrative team is a shambles. Non responsive and gave information completely contrary to the facts as confirmed by the installation team.
