The first email stated a date /time slot after which it was cancelled and a second date given. After waiting in, the Fitter / installer turned up without the unit. He completed the cable running from where it was due to be fitted and left it, waiting for it to be connected on the next visit, hinted at the next day. No next day visit. I then contacted Pod Point and secured a further date which was then changed to the pm slot (no notification other than me making contact). Failed to turn up. Eventually, after me again, contacting Pod Point customer Services, a new date and, this time, success. Disappointing to say the least

The whole experience of trying to use the form-based remote survey system was extremely frustrating. The system either failed because the web page was having issues or the photos required exceeded the size limit imposed. We had to get our car supplier involved in the process on more than one occasion and eventually had to send the required photos as email attachments to several emails. Responses to our emails were very late and sporadic and trying to get through on the telephone was also difficult. Whilst part of this can be put down to Covid related constraints other company issues must be at fault here. Once these hurdles had been overcome the actual installation was a breeze and the electrician very competent and helpful.

Awful customer service trying to get installation, rude and unhelpful from a sales point. Very strung out to get everything approved. Cannot fault installation, however, quick and easy on the day.

Ordering the pod polnt was a nightmare and would not recommend the company. I even asked perry's if i could use another company to install the charger. If you want more information please contact on 01282 220926 Many thanks Wilf hague

I was asked to accept an earlier installation date. I was pleased to do this but nobody turned up. The installers turned up 2 days later and the installation was okay. But the room in the junction box for the tails was very limited and I feel the installers should have replaced the junction box with a larger one (it's not as if these boxes are expensive). The holder for the charger flying lead was screwed to the wall upside down. I had ordered a box with a lockable lid. But the engineers turned up with a box with a flying lead. I was happy to accept this but I then had to arrange for a refund for the £40 lock I had ordered. This did go through successfully. Even with no load on my house the box only seems capable of delivering 2kw to my brand new corse -e. So all in all not the greatest experience.

As a customer I have not been impressed by the communication from Pod Point, taking a full five months from payment to my charger being fitted, and having spent hours on the phone chasing for the latest update, and never once a proactive call update.

The pre-installation service wasn't great and I think an engineer should be sent out in advance. The guy who installed the pod point was very friendly and professional. After the installation was completed, my boiler stopped providing heat to my radiators. I believe the work may have shorted the circuit and caused this to happen (it was working like normal pre-installation) and as a result, it cost me over £100 to have it repaired. I raised this and have been informed this matter is being looked into but haven't heard anything in almost 2 weeks.

I have a pod point that can only be reached with a 15metre cable, therefore useless, unless you want to mess about for ages

First installation appointment was a no show. Installed after a second appointment was made. New car delivered and go to use podpoint for first time and it doesn’t work. As it’s a weekend got to wait till Monday morning until I can speak to someone

The first engineer booked, failed to attend, and sent no notification or apology. The engineer did attend our 2nd appointment, and was Prompt and polite. However his installation has left a long and deep crack in the render, which I feel needs filling. I have taken a photo.

The installation itself was carried out well by the installer but being a 3rd party contractor the instructions on how to use the pod point were not explained. Also no test was taken to ensure that our car was actually responding to the charging and what rate and also how to set up a schedule and see it operate

The initial process was a nightmare email after email, I'm a 77yr old woman if I had to do this again I would never have opted for this option. Very disappointed the whole experience

Not good. The installation was sub-contracted out. The installer was unhelpful. I had to assist him with the installation. He left site and when I tried to charge my car, the unit wasn't working and he had to return to fix it. One week later and the charging unit has developed a fault and has stopped working. I rang Podpoint yesterday to report it and have heard nothing back. Still patiently waiting!

The build up was to be frank frustrating as it seemed every time I cleared one hurdle pod point came up with another. Eventually I got most of the work done at my own cost. The actual installation team were fantastic

Paid for a 7 kW Pod Point but my charger only gave me 2.1 kW and it takes over 48 hours to charge my batteries (Mercedes EQA). The Engineer did not complete the installation or help me to connect to the wi-fi for remote checking by "Pod-Pont Offices". Called Pod Point and am still unable to connect. They have now referred me to the "Technical Department"! I am still waiting for a call from them, to arrange for another experienced Engineer to come down and either sort out the connections or replace the wrong "Pod" with the correct one!

Terrible service before booking took weeks far too long required far to many details when a site evaluation would’ve been better. The installer took 6 hours to install something that shouldn’t have taken more than 90minutes.

They owe me £56 for holster they sold me that I didn't need and they won't take back and for a lock I paid for that the Engineer said I did not need and was not supplied. Communication on there side is very very poor.

As someone with limited computer ability I found it a trial. Couldn’t send the photos and disappointed that you couldn’t arrange a survey in advance. When I phoned I was advised to reply to the last email. I did and received a reply that the address didn’t accept replies.

As Podpoint would not come out to look at the job, it was down to me to provide info and photos of our preferred location. I was then advised that I would need to get a local electrician to carry out part of the work. When the Electrician came out, he advised us that the location that we wanted was not suitable and suggested a better place. We then had to go back to Podpoint, and have several more e mail exchanges and photos before we got the go ahead. All this took several weeks of tooing and froing. If Podpoint had come out for an inspection at the outset, it would have saved a lot of time. Covid was given as the reason that they did not come out, but this was after all restrictions had been lifted, and most of the work was done outside of the house.

A very lengthy and disorganised process that took over 6 months.
