Minor damage to porch wall plus I was told by a previous survey installer that I could have a tethered cable unit but when fitter came he didn't have one.

Making the appointment for delivery was painful. There is no Pod Point customer service around the appointment process and unless the customer confirms the appointment then the team don’t turn up. A courtesy call to the customer to confirm the delivery details would enhance this part of your service.

Great and easy booking. Installation was ok. Very messy work. Silicone left on inside walls. Copper wire shards left on floor once he left. No clean up. Pod point couldn't be registered, struggled to connect to internet with it. Not easy to trouble shoot.

The fitters accidentally arrived at the agreed time. Apparently they were scheduled to come between 12 and 4, we had in our diary 8 and 12. They were there by 9 so it was fine. They made a slight error in drilling, which they apologised for, that was fine, but generally the area wasn’t left in a clean state. They were very personable and explained everything clearly

Can not comment on use of charger as still waiting for delivery of vehicle, however installation and connection of cabling leaves a lot to be desired as I have since found out it contravenes guidelines from the DNO’s and Energy Network Association in that connection equipment has been fitted inside the meter box. It is possible that in the future I would have to have this equipment removed if the DNO required the space to install its own equipment. See photo.

Product seems good and engineer who installed was great. Arranging the install was very drawn out with communication delays from Pod Point and got the impression they were so busy they had to delay installs!

Sent through a photo showing the route that we wanted the cable to be run but I guess the installer didn’t get that as it was not run where we wanted it. Also use clear silicon on a white wall. Must have run out or white filler. So cable run not good but apart from that ok, I guess.

Not always easy to make contact with Pod Point ie the contact details in the small guide given out after installation is no longer usable. Also very difficult to contact Pod Point by phone. There is a number available but I didn’t get to speak and was cut off after going through the options. On this occasion I was attempting to pay for the extended warranty, which I still haven’t achieved. My installation certificate has the wrong house number on it, which I think is being addressed. To be fair and having written all that Pod Point, and other providers, must be inundated with installation requests due to the ridiculous government decision to stop the grant that was available. Pod Point did contact me a week before my installation date to ask if they could come to my property the next day to install the unit, which I welcomed. The installation was carried out brilliantly by the engineer and he took the time to explain what he was doing and how to use the unit. He was very customer centred. The Pod Point looks great and to date is working really well.

Following installation the engineer left the area untidy including several screws just thrown on the ground, the wheelie bins were accessible for him to just lift the lid & throw them away

The run up to the installation was confused. I did a photo survey followed by more questions and photos. Then a surveyor came and agreed the cable route with me. I was sent a new MCB for my consumer unit the receipt of which I had to confirm before the installation could be scheduled. When the installer arrived he didn't use any of the information from the surveys. He didn't need the new MCB.

When we eventually got the information and dates arranged the task was compleated satisfactorily. Your procedures are not user friendly for members of the public that are not computer minded and should be amended.

Generally fine, however the actual pod point didn't get installed until the 3rd appointment - 1 late cancellation and one where the installer stated that the installation was "non standard" (which I don't believe that it was). Very frustrating given the effort & quality of the self survey that I had submitted to Pod Point, describing the required cable run in detail.

The installation itself was first class- 5 stars all the way- but the service to get to the installation was poor. A lack of response, having to chase (and even then it was difficult to get anywhere) and a general feeling of no assistance made the experience very poor.

Communication with pod point was quite poor - slow to respond and difficult to get hold of. Install was quick and installer was polite and tidy

Generally good communication prior to installation and they contacted me for a cancellation appointment by phone so service was quite quick. Very responsive and took action very quickly when there were issues. Unfortunately I had to call them twice in the first week to get them to set up the PodPoint remotely as the software settings were incorrect and it failed to charge. All good now though thank-you.

After not coming to do a survey and just relying on photos, I got the work that pod point requested done. The fitter that came to fit the podpoint decided that he still wanted to unnecessarily put another small consumer next to the already up-rated consumer unit. My electrician has stated that by your fitter doing that I didn't need to pay £500 to the electrician to update the existing consumer unit. Also Western Power have been around asking why podpoint had not told them that this unit was being fitted.

All went smooth until the Engineer went sick on the day of installation. We called up at midday to find this out, we weren't contacted by Pod-Point. No one would speak to us to rebook the appointment. Tried daily, but no one would call or book us in. Revisit was a week later

The pod looks fine. I took the untethered option, the thing I would say was disappointing was the lack of offer of a cable longer than the one supplied with the car (Tethered had this option). So unless I purchased one my options of placement were limited. The home survey was a pain due to having to take many photos, but not being given a list of requirements, thus many trips back and forth as the questions arose requesting pictures, would have been much simpler if they just said we need pictures of a,b, c ect.
