“Dreadful difficulty getting the installation ordered. Poor communication and systems and emails often lost in your system. Hard to speak to you on the phone. Wrong advice given about electrical set up, which would have cost us a great deal if our electrician had not pointed out a much cheaper way of proceeding”

“Easy and informative website. Fully explained how to receive the OZEV grant. Once purchased the whole process around pre-installation photos and signing the grant information was slick and simple. The Pod Point team were quick and efficient, the whole process was completed within a few hours. They then contacted me that day around installation which was done the next day! Installation was excellent and the installer was very competent and friendly, done a great job. Fantastic service from start to finish, from enquiry to purchase to installation including applying for the grant was all done within 24 hours, just incredible!”

“Generally, I was pleased with the service and with the installation. I liked the fact that I was able to deal with the same individual throughout the process, Raymond Abubaker, who was very helpful. I did find the online survey process onerous. It's annoying that you can't save your responses and come back and complete the form later on. I was also asked for additional photos, as there were doubts about the electrical set-up at my house; I found this frustrating and would have appreciated the opportunity to do a virtual survey with an engineer so as to be able to explain the set-up and answer any questions in real time rather than face requests for more photos. I nearly gave up at that point, but Raymond saved the day by arranging for the installer to come out. I communicated with Podpoint by phone and email. REsponse times were good.”

“The team on the day were great but amazed that I had to pay for a second engineer and the hire of a ladder to route a cable round a door to reach the required fix point. Does seem like a way to screw extra money out of the installation process when it was no higher than 7 feet for a run of 4 feet! And £100 to hire a ladder, you can buy one that was high enough for that! Kind of left a sour taste to be taken for another £185 for seemingly nothing. No complaints about the installers or the rest of the process, other than they went very quiet when I called out the extra charges as excessive and I had to chase to get the slot confirmed.”
