“The installer Tom and Darren turned up on time and with all the correct tools and equipment. They were both incredibly professional and did not hurry their work. They were incredibly dilligent and explained everything as they went along. I have nothing but praise for them.”

“The preliminary process seems a waste of my time as I provided a whole load of videos, pictures, drawings and measurements and agreed mounting point on the front of the house and understood there wasn't enough room in my meter box so there would be some additional equipment in the garage which was OK. Installer arrived today and instantly said it can't go where I wanted it as he couldn't get to the left hand side to fit some screws and so have had to have it down the side corridor to the house where I really didn't want it and there was loads of room in the meter box so that wasn't an issue so he could fit everything in there. As I say the initial process seems pointless as whoever reviewed all the info I was asked to provide didn't seem to understand the real world installation process and limitations. Had I known all this I would probably have gone with another provider who doesn't need access to screws down the left hand side of their unit so could have fitted it where I wanted it. As it is I'm stuck with an inconvenient placed podpoint. Disappointed.”

“Great product, great odering process. Website is straight forward and easy to order the PodPoint. product came recomended and I can understand why. Installation was very quick and straight forward on the day - just over an hour. Really like the app and easy to operate through the app. very pleased with the product. However, the scheduling process was far from starightforward. I found the process of uploading multiple video's and pictures frustratingly slow. If you have a larger house or anything other than a single consumer unit (CU) this process leads to lots of questions and assumptions about what can and can't be be done. Lots of email ping pong with questions resulting in frustration and delay. Advised that your team do not hide cabling under the floor and I was not prepared to have surface mounted trunking inside the house. It appears this would have been necessary if I'd have took your teams advice of having the charger wired back to the main CU (I wanted it wired to a garage CU 2 metres from the charger location). All of this could have been solved in 15 minutes with a survey or some direct conversations. In the end I had my own electrician look at the system and tell me what was needed to facilitate the install. We changed and uprated RCBO's and MCB's and confirmed cable sizes before I came back by email to confirm details. Once this was clarified the team then reverted with an install date quickly. On the day installation was very straightforward and quick given the preparation work that had been done in advance. I strongly suggest a survey for larger houses or more complicated domestic set ups, this would have saved loads of time and frustration during the scheduling process. Otherwise great product.”

“The engineer (Haydn) contacted me the night before installation to give me the exact time he would be at my property. He turned up on time was very professional in full uniform, we talked through where I wanted to have the pod put, did all his checks first and got on with the job. He made sure he told me everything he was doing. He went through all the different colours code and helped me set up the app on my phone. Would highly recommend.”
