I am still waiting to hear from podpoint about the access to use the app that allows me to set up the times that I want to schedule the charger. Very disappointed with the lack of response to emails etc.

The ordering process and scheduling of installation support were poor. Installation on the day was excellent, the installer was professional and ensured the working area was clean when leaving.

The ordering & payment process was very simple, however, the experience went downhill once I was invited to complete the survey/questions that follow, having to take pictures of my house, draw lines on it to show where the PodPoint should go, pictures of the electric meter, fusebox, earth bonding to the stopcock etc... with plenty of warnings about not meeting the strict criteria meaning the installation wouldn't be able to go ahead. You must also be sure to have the external cabling low down otherwise it will need a ladder, an extra person, and additional charges. On the day of the install though everything went smoothly and the chap even installed some earth bonding to the oil pipe coming into my house so that he could complete the install, if he hadn't I would have had the PodPoint installed but not working!

I found communication with Pod Point very difficult as you appear to only communicate by e-mail unless the customer rings you. My installation was not as expected, it was very rushed I was not given any paperwork and the installer refused to assist in connecting my phone, he never left me my installation certificate and I got this sometime later by contacting Pod Point.

The lad arrived to fit my pod point straight away stated oh I don’t know if I can do this! There is brick which I stated all had been sent in the video for the insulation! He did carry out the insulation but I’m a little unsure to why the wire was drilled through the upper door frame and not the skirting board so look wise doesn’t look great

Engineer was fantastic, cannot fault at all. Phoned when he was 30mins away to let me know he was en route. Professional, helpful and tidied up after himself. Made extra effort to get us up and running on the day- thank you. The booking process not so easy. Many backwards and forwards email, photos wouldn't load to thr system etc so that took linger than I would have liked.

The application process using photographs proved an ordeal. Hav¡ng taken the required photographs on my mobile phone, the form failed to load three times and went back to being blank. I then took the photos first and had to upload them by email. A portal might have been more helpful and would avoid the frustration I encountered. It may be to do with the size of the photo files my phone creates but I am not tech-savvy enough to know how to reduce the file sizes Telephone and email were needed to get around the problem. The actual installation was fine. the appointment was kept the workman was polite and efficient and the installation is neat and tidy.

Arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Friendly. However did not help set up app or show me how to use the app / set up timings etc. Just gave me the leaflet and said you can read the leaflet and i can do it myself. Also. Took a photo of my Wi-Fi router password on his personal phone which I didn’t like as he now has my password.

My home charger has been installed but not completed, as the earth bonding has to be upgraded. No one has been in touch to say when it is being completed.

I didn't find the installer particularly friendly. I got the distinct impression he simply wanted to do things as rapidly as he could and move on. The installation went smoothly but the 'customer experience' wasn't that great.

Even though I emailed the office asking for a telephone conversation to discuss my install no one had the decency to contact me (other than another email) On the day of the install the fitter was bang on time, explained what he was going to do and where everything was to be fitted. He was pleasant, worked efficiently and got job done to my total satisfaction.

The installer was excellent, he was very efficient, explained everything clearly and listened to his customer. Sadly the booking process was atrocious it took 3 months to get the charger installed and the photo survey system simply didn’t work. The office based team didn’t listen to me at all and came up with a completely impractical installation solution. Pod point please change your booking system.

The ordering process was fine and telephone conversations were pleasant however the arduous process of the survey was very poorly managed in my opinion. It was only when I asked for a refund that things seemed to happen. This was all made better when the gentleman came to do the installation. He was a credit to your company and he was professional, courteous. And nothing was too much trouble.

Installation was quick and simple. Friendly guys. The booking process and mix up I had with my original booking wasn't ideal. Seemed to be a lot of mixed messages between the 3rd party installer, myself and pod point.

Ordering process was very easy and efficient, payment was taken immediately and then I heard nothing. Eventually managed to get through to speak to someone, after an age on hold, and installation date was arranged. (Goodness knows how long I may have had to wait to be contacted) That said, there was no confirmation email or anything confirming said installation date. First contact was from installation engineer the day before. On the positive side, engineer couldn't have been better, very quick and excellent job. I would suggest an improvement in company communication, especially when full payment is taken immediately.

To be perfectly fair, Pod Point Limited were difficult to deal with, making excuses in advance about Covid-19 and safety and often being tardy in responding to my emails. I had to resort to asking the Vauxhall dealer to chase them for me. That being said, the engineer who performed the actual installation was highly competent, constructive and charming.

The process to get approved for a chargig point was a complete shambles and took months and months to get correct. Being through a company, i wasnt given any guidance on the exact requirements for completing the forms and i kept getting the form sent back to me to re-submit having to get various members of the company to sign for it etc. There should be guidance from Pod Point on how to fill it in if this was going to be so particular. When i finally got approved, the installation process was fantastic. The booking process went smoothly and the installer was fantastic.

Don’t take too much notice of the advertised price, you have to get your own electrian to do all the main works that cost the money, all podpoint do is literally plug it in then sign it off.

Communication wasn't great to arrange installation. I had to chase for the install date. Was told this was due to high demand and them not having enough staff. Actual install was very good though. Electrician who came was really helpful and did what he could to make it tidy and as unobtrusive as possible.
