I had a home charger installed more than 2 weeks ago and still waiting for a charging cable which I ordered and paid for more than a month ago. Still can't use my home charger to date. Had no help from Pod Point whatsoever, customer service very poor. Bitterly disappointed.

Appalling customer service. Rarely answer your phone calls and when they do and promise to call back they never do.

We're pretty disappointed by way our pod point was installed, with seeming no care in the way the wire's are fixed to the walls and large holes made then clumsily 'filled'

All relevant drawings sketches and photos were sent in May. Installation did not take part until December. Communication between installation, design and network owner needs to improve. The customer was the only consistent input throughout the last 7 months. That should never be the case. Configuration Management needs to be considered to move things on more efficiently.

I have rarely had a worse experience from a supplier. It eventually ended with my charger being fitted but the process was painful. I understand Covid issues but communication to and from PodPoint was awful. I knew that I would have to wait for the installation once it was ordered so was prepared to wait until 1/12. I had arranged to stay at home and had re-arranged my house so that the installation could be done on that day. That morning, I got a phone message saying the engineer was unwell. When I tried to call back, all phone numbers were unreachable, and it was clear that lines had been switched off. Messages left, when possible, went unanswered. I will not list all the e-maIls I sent and calls made; promises made to me when I could get through which were promptly broken. I was offered 27/12 as the installation date. I declined, and eventually was told, confirmed by e-mail, that the date would be 9/12. I stayed at home and waited, and waited, and called and called and e-mailed. No-one came. It turns out that you had not actually made the booking with an engineer! Calls, e-mails, calls, complaints. Re-booked for 13/12. I arranged to be at home, re-prepared the house. Call on morning - engineer unwell. Calls etc. Refixed for 15/12. Very nice engineer came. Told me that the route from the fuse box to the point where I wanted the charger fitted was undoable, even though I had sent detailed photos as requested. No-one had said to me that the cabling and trunking required was too large to be able to use that route - obvious from the photos if you had bothered to look - which meant that the job took longer than anticipated. At end of day, engineer discovered that he could not come back the following day to complete the job. Nor did he know when he or anyone else could. Nor were he or I able to find out from you when that would be. House in a mess. me having to stay at home again, and me frankly disgusted with the treatment I was receiving, especially as you had been paid in full at the outset. Calls, e-mails, complaints eventually resulted in the same engineer returning on 17/12 and completing the job.

After 4 months the pod point was fitted and they got the date wrong. I found the whole experience to be poor. Nobody at pod point seems to care about data protection or helping customers. I am very disappointed I sell electric cars and have always told customers to use pod point and in the future, I will not be recommending them.

It’s been almost 4 months since I ordered a Home Charger from Pod Point and my experience has been terrible and I am still without any installation date or anything by way of a status update. Despite calls and emails to Pod Point and their 3rd party installer, I am left £550 down with nothing to show for. Not impressed!!

Cannot get through by telephone waiting in excess of 25 minutes. Installation charges are not truthful. Want more money for assessments and trunking. This should be indicated at the start. Dates for installation changed to suit pod point at very short notice without asking customer whether it was convenient. You take your fee at the outset when requesting installation and then make customer wait 5 weeks before it is installed. Totally unacceptable. Assessments should not be carried out by customer and to quote the installer they are wildly inaccurate and bear no resemblance to what is actually needed. You are getting customers to do your assessment work which is unacceptable and dangerous. I don’t measure up for a new front door and tell the builder what the dimensions are because they could be wrong and the door not fit. The builder comes and does the measurement as he is the expert. Nowhere in your original information do you indicate that the customer has to do this. You are getting the money to do this from the government grant and the customer payment. You are greedy and this practice is immoral. I have written to the watchdog complaining about this unacceptable practice. I waited three weeks with a new electric car unable to charge because of your incompetence with the installation.

I paid for my EV Home Charger on the 8th November 2021. I am still waiting for it to be installed. They do not respond to emails and telephone calls - which can take an hour to be answered - you are then fobbed off with 'someone will be in touch tomorrow.' Well tomorrow never comes and it is now 5 weeks having paid with nothing to show for it. My electric car has arrived at the showroom several weeks ago and they are pushing me to take delivery. I am beside myself with frustration.

Do not use this company. They have taken my money 2 weeks ago and still no contact from the installation team. I have emails from Daniel Siebrits of pod point confirming all approved last Tuesday but nothing since. Trading standards are now being contacted as I can’t get a response.

My previous review has not been verified not sure why but have added the PSL number for my unit 205891 which I hope will enable verification. I have the same problem as MJ in that the night scheduling does not run on my night rate and I was told it was the WiFi signal strength. I eliminated this by taking all scheduling off. I read the day and night figures on my meter and then charged during the night by manually plugging in at 01:00 and unplugging before the day rate started. My day meter units went up and my night units did not. This conclusively proved to me that the system had not been wired up to take advantage of my low rate units at night. I was told that the installation had been done correctly by the technical people at pod point from viewing the photograph of the installation. I then asked a couple of electricians what they thought and both concluded that in could not be wired up to allow the low rate to trigger in. I then looked at the installation instructions on the pod point web site and my installation has not been wired up as shown. I raised this with pod point several days ago and it has been escalated but as yet there has been no response from the escalation team.

The device works but I've had multiple issues with the installation with the cable management being one of them both inside the box and outside of it. Also, I've actually measured the cable and while it's not by much, it's a bit shorter than advertised. What's worse is that I've asked them to send someone out to fix these issues about a month ago and haven't heard back from them since.

As a potential customer i needed to ask a question; the number goes un answered or to asks you to email which I have but l the email is still unanswered. It’s a fundamental question and a simple one!!…. Why would I select you as a vendor?

Took my money and didn’t hear from them for months. Took months to book, installation a nightmare (three attempts before they supplied a switch you could get from any electrical wholesaler). Quite simply a shocking experience!

Hopeless sat after service. My charger has not been working for 8 days and impossible to get them to respond. No reply to emails, they take my details on the phone and say I will be contacted but no one does. Spending hours and a fortune charging in a petrol station. Nightmare
