“Clearer exit signs at night would let me say 5 star”

“Parking was ok but signage to and from airport terminal was poor. We travelled each way in darkness and it was difficult to see which route to take through the car park to terminal and vice Versa”

“I drove the car to the barrier a ticket was printed, the barrier rose, I parked the car and locked it I then went to the airport. Upon my return I unlocked the car drove to the barrier inserted the ticket and the barrier raised. Upon exiting a brass band played me out whilst a flyby by the Planeparking red arrows zoomed over head.”

“My first time using Fastpark. Had help at reception organising my key tag. (useful). I had difficulty finding my way to the terminal building. Better signage required. Same on return. More signage required. I had to as A guy behind a window who pointed the way. When leaving the car park its a bit of a nightmare I felt. I kept following the exit signs hoping I would eventually get out. Seemed a bit of a maze especially at night. Again better signage would be helpful. I'm hoping my second visit will be trouble free.”

“Good idea and convenient. Some of the process requires to be simplified. For example the location of the car at when collecting keys should be attached to the keys.”

“Value for money was good because we booked so far in advance. Only slight quibbles... parking spaces aren't the widest if you've got a big boxy car and the entrance and exit road were being repaired/worked on so they were both narrow to get in and out of.”

“Car number plate wasn’t recognised when we arrived, unfortunately we were late due to traffic so had to take ticket. On departure pressed intercom to speak and inform them of the issue, asked for number plate No, barrier raised to allow us to exit.”

“Good value for our week away. Not very clear signage for walking to the terminal in the dark and on our return in daylight the walking route was completely blocked by bollards and parked cars.”

“The reason ,I gave a four star, because I am confused between plane parking and fast parking. I have used both. Last I have used the fast parking system, which went very efficient. Even though I found finding the way out a bit difficult. When I phoned fast park they said I did not have the right code. So I think you have to be clearer in the company you use. The explanation of use was hard to find. I also used plane parking with the bus. Which is also fine, but I prefer the ease of fast parking.”

“Make the colour of the ticket with the key collection bar code clearer. The bar on the touch screen took several attempts at ‘pushing’ it before the key locker opened. A normal button would be better? Otherwise good.”

“There were a few problems with checking in and again retrieving our keys. Both times however the staff were very helpful and silver the problems. Car was parked and waiting for us.”

“Used for first time arriving 0700 ish on 13.12.23. Had to change cars due to hitting invisible pothole in Dundee. Impossible to contact anyone at Plane Parking Edinburgh as there are no online phone numbers - everything is online. No problem arriving with different car though. This needs to be stated clearly in FAQs. Staff on duty very courteous and helpful re change of car. Think plane parking a good system. However, a valet parking driver had messed with the car radio/media settings which took a while to sort out. Do you need to use the radio while driving to park car? Next time (already booked) will leave note on radio to 'leave well alone' and make note of miles covered for parking.”
