“Good long stay car park for Edinburgh Airport. Online booking was easy enough, although trying to add extra days onto the original booking wasn’t so easy - this resulted in the barrier stopping me from leaving and trying to ask for an additional £310! This was quickly sorted by calling the help button.”

“The parking is quite a distance from the airport. The bus service is often but drops off at a distance from the departure doors, one could get very wet on the walk from the bus when raining. The drivers were very polite and helpful.”

“I did not like on leaving I put my ticket in and nothing happened . I used the buzzer could hear person but not very clear. After message still no exit. Irung again and someone finally opened the gate. Also booked later before my flight and was charged a far higher amount than usual.”

“Good service, a bit away from the terminal but regular bus service does not make this a problem and very short bus ride to terminal. Bus could be a bit better to accommodate luggage, lucky I was traveling with hand luggage only but others on the bus had full cases and not much room to store them. Barrier did not recognise my ticket on exit but pushed intercom button and they checked out my booking and lifted the barrier for me, so this was no problem either. Overall good and I will use them again.”

“Good value and prompt bus service. However the ticket machine on exit did not work again, so I had to contact the office in order to leave.”

“All went perfectly until presenting my ticket on leaving when machine would not open gate and as it expected payment of £190.00. I had already paid in advance. To be fair the situation was quickly sorted out by the person who answered the call button.”

“Found the car park no problem. Found a space no problem. Waited no more than 5/6 minutes for a bus which dropped us off with a couple of minutes walk to the top of the terminal On way back it was a 5 minute wait. On exit the ticket reader said I owed £100 although we had pre paid. Pressed the intercom button and the gent took some details, checked my booking and sorted it quickly”

“Parking was great, bus was fine however on trying to check out I was informed at the gate that I had to pay a £150 surcharge, obviously i was not about to pay this and after a call to plane parking using the help facility at the gate I was told that I could leave, no apology or explanation but at least I didn't have to pay this obvious technical fault overcharge. Despite this I would use Plane Parking again and would recommend to friends or family.”

“Plane parking is good value if booked in advance only for me when I wanted to leave I placed my card at the barrier and the machine showed I owe £100.00 it was easy sorted via the intercom as the number plate recognition had not worked on entry and the assistant open the barrier for me to leave”

“When leaving I inserted card and it came up saying I owed £180 although my booking was all paid for and confirmed I pressed the button on the machine for help and was answered immediately The person on the other end asked for my details did a quick check then we were good to go Only complaint was the shock of seeing that I supposedly owed £180”

“Great facility reasonably priced, regular shuttle bus to departures. However despite pre-booking, I’m always asked to pay full price on exit. This needs to be sorted out as it causes a short delay and is annoying for motorists behind.”

“Car check in was great, really easy but check out not so much, our keys weren't ready and when we tried to get out if the car park we had to take a ticket which would have charged us but speak to the guy at the exit barrier. I would use it again and hope exit was easier next time”

“We arrived in the dark & found it difficult to note where we had parked (for when we returned). The bus drops you at the furtherest point from the airport - difficult if you have any mobility issues. That also means the furtherest point when you return. We were challenged when leaving the car park & told we need to pay another £180 however once we spoke to someone the barrier was lifted. It was the cheapest car park, we held on to our keys & providing you have no mobility issues then it's value for money”
