“Straightforward on arrival but on trying to exit on our return I was told I had to pay £160. Eventually speaking to staff member it was recognised that my booking was in order and this was cancelled. Nevertheless not a happy experience when tired and just wanting to get home quickly.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“Great price great service 10 out of 10 only problem was when I was checking out of the car park I put my ticket in to let me out but it said you o £180 pound so I pressed the information button and the gentleman sorted it and right away.”

“First time using this carpark. We had pre booked and paid. We noted when we got our ticket at the barrier that our Reg number was not printed on it. This was the same for others waiting at bus stop so not unduly worried. Found a space easily. Bus was prompt and we had a short trip to terminal. Driver was very friendly.
Arrival home was in early hours and bus was waiting for us again driver very friendly . On way back another driver spoke to our driver at the barrier saying he had pre paid but was asked to pay a further fee on exit. Driver informed him to press assistance button at barrier.
Having heard this I was not surprised when we reached the barrier to see a message saying we were due to pay £180.
We pressed for assistance. After giving our reg number and name the barrier was lifted.
I would use this car park again because of the prices but the ANPR requires some upgrade.”
