“I booked Plane park. On arrival at the airport there were no obvious signs to this option. I should of course have read the next page of instructions but honestly didn't think I could be complicated. Plane park has been discontinued and replaced by Fast Park.
I ended up parking in the terminal open car park. To be fair the staff were very friendly and helpful.”

I can see that you were booked into FastPark and not Plane Parking therefore your booking would not have been affected by the temporary closure of Plane Parking.
Plane parking is non-operational during the winter period however I can confirm that this product has not been discontinued or replaced by FastPark.

“To be honest it wasn’t a great experience as the the automatic number plate recognition device printed the ticket with an obscured print of the reg. no. and we had to pay an extra £120 to exit the car park!”

“Booked for a week. The parking is situated a short walk from airport. On way out there was very little signage to airport and lighting was poor. The car park surface is pretty rough in places so be careful when pushing a trolley of luggage. On return red and white barriers had been but in place to indicate path through car park. Would recommend as parking cost is much cheaper than alternatives and it is only a short walk. Make sure you remember number of area you park in as it is a large car park.”

“we arrived at 3.am. I hadn't used this service before. guys were very polite and helpful in every way. right next to airport and will definitely use again.
only problem was the entry roundabout to the airport was under roadworks, but you didn't find out till you were right at it. had to divert back to newbridge roundabout and back again to enter via the ingleston entrance. this has nothing to do with fast park but I just thought I'd have a moan!”
“We stayed at the midstay carpark and found it to be ideal .It is very easily sign posted and within easy walking distance to the terminal. We would definitely use this car park again and would recommend it to family and friends.”
“Used Edinburgh Airport parking for 3 weeks. Received a free upgrade to onsite parking - which was literally, opposite the terminal and took 2-3 minutes to walk from the car. The automoted barrier worked a treat and we were back home before you could say 'so, where are we going to next?". 5 star experience - thank you!”
“Plane parking is excellent but the APNR never seems to recognise the car registration number even though I always pre-book the parking. This always means contacting the office to lift the barrier on entry and exit. The staff are excellent but the technology needs looking at!”
