I feel some sort of refund is due as it was not entirely my fault. I am far from happy”

“Car park is well signposted and easy to find. It’s a short transfer by bus to the airport and the drop off/pick up point is in beside the taxi rank. The bus runs regularly and we waited no more than 2 minutes each way. We have already booked Plane parking for our next trip.”
“The parking (long stay) works well and is an easy walk to the terminal. The problem is the rip off additional cost where your flight is cancelled and you don't get back in time. The pre paid parking covering Monday 4.30 am to Friday 1 am cost £44. No problem there. But my return flight was cancelled through no fault of my own. So having got the next available flight, I got back to the car at around 2.15 pm on the Friday. Effectively 13 ish hours late. The charge was £50 extra. If I had not pre booked and had just driven into the car park I would expect to be charged the as advertised rate. I think where a flight is cancelled and there is nothing you can do about it there should be some sense applied to how the charge is calculated. As I said earlier, this is a rip off.”

“Guys, I would have given you 5 stars if only you had signage to enter that car park area at approx 04.30 am
It is so dark and incredibly difficult. You really need an illuminated sign/arrow stating " This Way"
Unfortunately, i took a wrong turn and was charged £4.00 for my error. I know i was one of 3 drivers that morning when that made the same error according to your helpful colleague at the key deposit stage.

“I have used Plane Parking many times and I am always satisfied with the price and service provided. I commented to my husband this time that the ticket issued upon arrival did not have our car registration number on it. I just hoped that a) I was in the correct car park ( I know this is an irrational thought) & b) that I would not have a fee to pay for being in the wrong car park. Upon returning to the car park I presented my ticket to the machine and was denied exit. A payment of £250 was requested. This was a bit of a panic! I pressed the button to speak to someone who could help and I explained that a payment of £250 was being requested. I was duly allowed to exit without payment. Not a huge issue but something that definitely needs some attention. And please revert to printing the car registration number on the tickets. It would also be a good idea to have some signage on the side of the bus shelter at the bus stop for pickup from the airport back to the car park. The only sign is on the inside. Four of us commented on this.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes.

“The parking place is convenient and once your car is parked it’s easy and quick to get to the airport.
Two issues I had:
1) no confirmation email came through and contact number didn’t work so thought I had been scammed.
2) Barrier didn’t open when we arrived and took 20 minutes to get through.”
“Plane was delayed by 14 hours due to passenger having a heart attack, and crew out of hours, so had overnight stay. CHARGED EXTRA £45 for the extra part day. Not happy!”

As per our Terms and Conditions, if you overstay past your booking end, you will be charged at non-pre-booked rates.
