“When arriving into Edinburgh airport the car park is very well sign posted.
Regular shuttle bus & also bus stop well sun posted.
This car park is absolutely value for money- only a 5-10 min shuttle & pay 1/2 the price of others!!”
“All went well apart from the system at the gate not recognising my number plate. Changed car recently, I updated the reg number on your system well in advance, but at the car park they apparently still had old details. Luckily giving booking number at the gate was enough to sort it out”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. I understand the frustration that it causes however I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.

I had lost ticket but assistance were great at supporting especially as it was 1am.
One issue but not with plane parking is the sign for pick up at airport is difficult to see when coming out of arrivals .”
“For someone with a mobility problem & a 'Blue Badge' for my car this was superb. Parked on level 2 in the disabled bays right beside the lifts. Coming back, back in the lift and took it to the second floor and straight into car, drove down to ground level and put ticket into the machine and the barrier lifted and on our way home. Parking here when the weather is inclement would be especially good as you are under cover.”

“I did not receive an email confirmation of my booking which was not a good start. When I arrived the ticket showed for terminal parking when I had booked multi-storey parking. As a result I did not get my fast track passes. When I returned and tried to exit it showed I owed over £200. As I had prepaid this was clearly not correct. It was resolved quickly and I left the car park after a short conversation with a staff member via intercom”

If you do not receive your booking confirmation after placing a booking we would encourage customers to reach out to us so we can resend it. Please note depending on how your inbox is set up the booking confirmation may have went to your spam folder.
When entering the Multi-storey car park you will be issues with a ticket when you enter the Terminal car park barriers, you will then reinsert this ticket to access the Multi-storey car park.

“Was a bit of a trek to get there ,the shuttle bus service was not there when I dropped off the car,on return there is no sign to where to pick up the shuttle,and it drives past you”

It is my understanding that the shuttle bus runs from the plane parking car park 24 hours a day every 12 minutes.

“A huge car park on the edge of the airport beside the staff car parking area. It was well signposted and easy to get to. I was able to find a space with ease and did not have to wait long for the bus to take us to the terminal. The same on the way back which was great after a long overnight flight. The only negative was the ticket machine on exit did not recognise my prepaid ticket and asked for £170, I nearly had a heart attack! However, quickly and easily resolved by pressing the assist button on the Mach and was swiftly sorted out by very helpful staff member. Thanks for that and it wouldn’t put me off using the car park again.”
“On arrival to Plane Parking Endinburgh on the 19th March only to discover it was closed,,then met by a staff woman ( with not a nice attitude may i add) to be told it was closed and to go to the long stay parking.She told us we should have received an email..which we did not.When we asked directions she just said round to the right.Now we are not familour with this area.Very disapointed with this service.”

I can see that booked into the Terminal car park and I can confirm that this car park is open and operational. For future reference I would encourage you to view your booking confirmation before travelling as it this includes the directions to your chosen car park as it sounds like you may have attempted to enter Plane Parking which was non-operational on your date of travel.

“Arrived to find car park closed ( two couples, two cars) had to hang about in freezing cold to finally be instructed to attend long stay car park. Had to walk with two suitcases each to terminal as no transfer bus available. Not a great start to our holiday. On return had long walk again to retrieve cars.”
