“Quality of meat is ok. Often overpriced. Your delivery needs to be looked at. People are paying for delivery and in my case I had to wait till 7pm till DPD showed up. They only messaged me sometime late afternoon. Wasted an entire day on this. It's not something I wish to do again. So big NO from me ... whilst your meat is ok yiur delivery is a Joke. So I wouldn't recommend or use your site again”

As mentioned in our email exchange, DPD did make the delivery on the day that you selected and we do provide the option for Express Delivery where the courier delivers this before midday but unfortunately you did not select this. “I needed a large turkey for a Thanksgiving dinner. As I’d missed the last order dates from suppliers in London I went online to search for one. Fortunately I came across Pipers Farm. The price was fair, it arrived exactly when expected and it was beautifully wrapped (wool padding and ice blocks) for the journey from Devon to London. As for the taste, it was absolutely delicious!”

“I’ve just received my second order the delivery time is excellent as is the produce and pricing. Great value for money and peace of mind knowing the animals are cared for until the end. No halal or religiously slaughtered meat is worth its weight in gold.”

“Delivery is anything but clear or transparent. On my order it clearly stated that DPD would contact me sometime in the morning and give me an hour slot. After midday waiting in no info from DPD there site said my package of perishables from Pipers farm got there at their Dunstable Depot at around 2200 hrs on the 1st of December 2025. At midday it was still at Dunstable depot . I did speak with one DPD gent who was delivering in my Road and asked why was my package still in Dunstable? He didn’t have an answer! Rang Pioers Farm and spoke with Liz who was quite dismissive and simply said it will get to you around 7pm this evening. So my entire day was lost trying to second guess when this package would arrive. Never will I waste my time with this company who don’t appreciate that customers need reliable information and cannot give up an entire day for a second rate delivery service . Paid top prices too and paid for delivery. Will stick to Waitrose organic grass fed chicken and beef at least you. A Trust them .”

“Sorry too tell you the delivery was delivered to the ground floor my intercom was not used. I live on the 5 floor (fast lift) I am in the elderly bracket and to lift this heavy package was impossible and I had to get help most delivery companies always deliver to the door to the apartment l confirm the packing was excellent and every item was still completely frozen with the delay of getting the box to my floor the charge for delivery should not apply with the cost of this order. I served the chicken to my guests who all said the taste was out of this world thank you”

“Would I recommend Pipers?? Simply 'yes' I have been a customer for several years and have never been disappointed with either their customer service, which is excellent, or their very caring production of the simply best beef, chicken, fish etc. etc. that I have ever eaten. From sausages to wonderful beef joints, you cannot go wrong, simply looking at a Pipers Farm whole chicken you see the difference immediately. Plus Cinnamon Buns on Christmas day has become something of a tradition!! Well done Pipers you get a '10' from me and my family.”

“We received our Thanksgiving turkey today and it is a very sad sight indeed. It has not been properly plucked and there are hundreds of broken feathers remaining in the skin of the turkey. When you run your hand along the skin you feel hard bumps - unlike any raw turkey or chicken I have ever touched (and I am an experienced cook who roasts poultry most weeks). Pipers keeps telling me that they expect "pigment" to be there because it is a heritage breed - however all I can say is in over ten years of cooking a heritage bronze turkey every year I have never received one like this. There are hundreds of HARD feather follicles with feathers remaining inside and it will take us at least 4 hours to properly finish preparing this turkey.”

“From ordering to delivery everything was great. We are having the rib of beef for Christmas so can't give a taste review yet, but looking at the meat it looks stunning, beautiful marbling so I imagine it will be a taste sensation . Watch this space !”

“Excellent food, delicious and all high welfare produce. If I had one negative, it would be that a lot of products I wanted for Christmas (Pork Pie) etc were unavailable. Always sent in environmentally friendly packaging and very well packed.”
