“Hello There was nothing at all wrong with the product. It was a gift for a friend. However…. I placed an order for a selected future date as the recipient was away and paid for the privilege. However when I received the confirmation the order stated it would be delivered the following day. I emailed immediately to get it changed to correct date but amazingly got told I couldn’t as it was already packaged and sent (within 10 mins of order placed). This is baffling. Didn’t even try to help instead concentrated on blaming me for ordering it incorrectly (that is admittedly plausible). Sadly I won’t be using your service again and will be warning all my bbq groups to also avoid using your service.”

“I ordered my bronze turkey from piper’s in September to be delivered on 23rd December with all the other bits, then I panicked thinking will it turn up? I have to say I was extremely impressed with the turkey itself and the customer service. I have ordered other meat throughout the year and the quality is excellent!”

“Good quality produce Packed properly for delivery which arrived on time Good butchers are harder to find in large UK cities so although prices are high this is convenient if you can buy in bulk.”

“The smoked gammon was, as it always is, excellent. 5 stars We decided to have pork instead of a Pipers Farm chicken for Christmas this year. It was a disappointment. Much to our surprise, in spite of long careful roasting, although the meat turned out to be well cooked and tasty, there was a great deal of fat layered within it. The ratio of fat to meat must have been 50:50. Unusual for boned rolled leg, even for slowly grown pigs.Two stars. The crackling wasn't up to much either. This is the first time Pipers Farm has let us down in ten years”

“Awful food all around. Tasteless and the turkey was inedible. When I contacted customer services I got a cold blunt reply offering h nothing at all. Not even a little sympathy. I won’t be using this company ever again and would not recommend them. We ended up feeding the £70 turkey to the dog.”

“We bought our Christmas turkey and it was easily the best turkey we've ever had. It was delivered exactly when promised, with great care, and had lots of helpful information about preparing and cooking it to get the best result. We wouldn't hesitate to use Pipers Farm again.”

“I’ve ordered from Pipers for years and have always been very happy with the products and delivery but this year was different. My Christmas order was due on the 23rd but as I got no message to say when it was being delivered I contacted Pipers at 8am - there was no response and that continued all day. Result was a very stressful day making calls and trying to decide whether to go out and buy something locally. The order did eventually arrive on the 24th but I then had to rush as the ham joint was required for dinner that evening. The actual order was complete, nothing missing and the meat was as good as usual but the whole experience could have been much better handled and given the number of complaints that I’ve seen on the internet a message on the website would have really helped. I shall have to think long and hard before ordering again.”

“Having read Sacred Cow (the case for better meat)earlier this year I was looking for a supply free from growth hormones and unnecessary antibiotics produced in harmony with the planet, so benefitting the welfare of the animals and the land they graze on. I discovered Pipers Farm and now rarely buy meat anywhere else. My favourites so far include the Rack of Lamb, chicken breast and every day steak,(great value )but best of all amongst my seasonal order was the tastiest fillet of beef that made Christmas lunch exceptional. So anyone looking for a supply of nutritious meat, produced in the right way, at a very fair price delivered with care within the given one hour time slot by DPD look no further than Pipers Farm.”

“Our local farm shop stopped taking orders earlier than usual, this year. We found Pipers Farm: we are so glad that we did! We ordered fillet steaks for Christmas Day: they are, quite honestly, the best we have ever tasted. Succulent, tender, with wonderful flavour. We will buy again. Thank you so much, Pipers Farm.”

“What a find! Every guest at my Christmas lunch asked for your details, so good was the food. The turkey ours and honey roast carrots in particular were wonderful. The packaging was great and the cooking instructions were super easy. The fact that everything bar the potatoes took the same time to cook, and all on the same temperature, was a huge bonus. Delivery time was spot on, and the trackable courier link was really helpful. Prices were reasonable and the pies, 3 veg sides and potatoes comfortably fed 6 of us without over-stuffing anybody. Thank you. PS only slight gripe is that everything took far far longer to cook than indicated, but that could be my oven!”

“The easiest and tastiest Christians dinner we’ve ever had. The usual headache and multi tasking when preparing a dinner for 10, was removed by taking advantage of what pipers farm could provide. The food was superb and clearing up afterwards was also much simpler, removing a task nobody enjoys. Much like Santa, we’ll see you next year.”
