“I recently ordered beef ox heart, lamb chops, and chicken breasts from Piper Farm and I couldn’t be happier with the quality. Everything arrived beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. The meat was incredibly fresh, with a deep, rich colour and excellent texture. The ox heart was outstanding — tender, flavourful, and clearly from well-raised animals. The lamb chops were some of the best I’ve tasted, with amazing marbling and a clean, natural flavour. The chicken breasts were juicy, succulent, and far superior to supermarket chicken.”

“This was my first order from Pipers Farm. I ordered chicken breasts and sea bass fillet. The chicken breasts were absolutely beautiful I have not enjoyed chicken so much in years! The freshly caught seabass was also beautiful. My order was delivered on time and packaging was exceptional. Thank you Pipers Farm.”

“I love shopping at pipers farm the grass fed beef mine in my opinion is the best of the best. I would say that some of the items in the pantry (Ready meals ) are a bit on the exspensive side and would purchase if the prices were right. The delivery fee is also a bit steep so I tend to double up on produce”

“The meat I buy is great but a lot of what I would like to repeat buy is unavailable. Perhaps this is seasonal? I would like giblets included in the whole chickens I purchase. Otherwise the quality and packing and delivery is excellent. Everything tastes great!”

“Top class quality of meat from my previous orders, however living alone I find your minimum monetary spend has increased from £30 to £40 which I find excessive together with postage increase.”

We completely understand that a £40 minimum order can feel challenging, especially for customers ordering for one. The minimum order value is linked to the fixed costs involved in carefully packaging and delivering products safely. These costs have risen significantly, particularly for insulated packaging, ice packs, and overnight delivery. To keep our produce nice and cold and delivered in perfect condition, each order incurs the same preparation and delivery costs regardless of size. We subsidise a large proportion of these costs so customers don’t have to pay the full amount themselves, and the minimum order helps us absorb those expenses while continuing to offer the quality and service you expect from us. We genuinely value customers like you and your feedback, and we’ll continue to look for ways to balance affordability with maintaining our standards. “Beautifully packed, haven't used other than the 2 steaks, which were very nice. Chicken legs I have cooked, but still in doubt about code?GB 2865 Which comes up Halal slaughter, hopefully it's wrong. I wished I'd have chosen individual meats, has we have a problem with fat. The other meats look good.looking forward to trying them.& I will say good luck, it's hard work has I know well.”

I can confirm that the code on the Chicken is in relation to our old site in Exeter (we have since moved into a brand new unit) where the chicken was prepared as we do not display abattoir codes on our products, but I can assure you that we do not follow any religious guidelines with the slaughter of our animals. “I love Pipers ethical rearing and loving care for their animals. The produce is delicious and the delivery process all to plan. I would never buy supermarket factory farmed meat on principle! I believe it’s very important to support ethical farmers!”
