“I was sent incorrect product. Thinner than the one I ordered. I didn't notice at first and the shop pushed the blame onto their supplier and said that since I already used some of the package they can't split the one they have to exchange the rest (I needed at least some thicker slabs). Funny thing is when I started laying the slabs, lot of them were discoloured, few were broken but I assumes it's the way with the discounted stock (that's what the website said) and I had ordered more to account for that. But apparently I got new, more expensive stock so I find it mediocre at best. In terms of customer support, they are at least replying really quickly, even if they don't have any good solutions to my problem.”

Their lovely admin staff emailed to explain and offered everything from an immediate refund to an offer to explore alternatives. They went back and forth talking to suppliers about potential alternatives until they found one that was just what we needed and still had it delivered within their standard timeframes. Great and knowledgeable service.”

“As a private non trade buyer , I do not have a anything to lift over a ton of paving stones up my gravel drive to near where they can be laid. Although you do warn buyers about where the delivery can go you do not deliver with a vehicle or something which can move the paving stones. YET you are selling to private customers. The delivery driver said this was a common problem, so you are quite prepared to sell to private customers but cannot be bothered to make sure that the ordered is properly delivered. So it was dropped outside my gate.”

“Absolutely avoid at all costs. Ordered a shed on the website for a cost of £212 - order confirmed, e-mail received. Day later, got an e-mail indicating there was a 'typo' on the website, and that delivery for the shed was £60, so unless I coughed this up, then they'd have to cancel. Rang up, and spoke to someone called Selena Stuart, who had a terrible attitude and was unwilling to budge. Asked to speak to a manager, Bruce Read, who was equally as stubborn and ignorant - not to mention sarcastic, and that if I was unwilling to pay the extra £60, then they'd cancel the order. Sardonically pointed me towards the Ts&Cs that indicated that if there was a typo/supplier error, then Paving Superstore reserve the rights to essentially demand more money off their customers. (Nothing about what they advertise on their website - how suspicious). Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face. Cancelled a £200+ order for the sake of a £60 delivery fee that they were unwilling to budge on (which wasn't advertised on the website at all, and wasn't advertised on the confirmation e-mail). To make this matter even worse - Bruce is the MD of Paving Superstore - which is almost hilarious, given how he speaks to customers. Quite how this two-bit place is in business, I do not know. Sort it out Bruce - maybe invest in some customer service training for yourself and your colleagues. Crass!”

“Well designed website gave all the info I needed. Ordering was easy - productnarrived in a timely manner. Only thing to lose a star was that we were not informed that the item had been dispatched for delivery or indeed that it had been delivered.”
