“This is the second plant of this type I have bought from Paramount plants. Both have been exceptional. The size of the latest one was far greater than expected. It really is a stunning plant that lights up the garden.”

“Not the cheapest so I would have expected something of a better quality. Spindly for two feet then a few dried up leaves. Not a sign of any berries, green or red, looks like I've wasted my money.”

Thank you for your feedback David. We’re sorry to hear you’re disappointed with your Butcher’s Broom (Ruscus aculeatus) plant and we take all customer concerns seriously. Our customer services have already emailed you to ask for more information about this. Just to clarify, Butcher’s Broom typically flowers in spring and produces its red berries in late autumn or winter, so in August it’s normal for there to be no berries yet. Young Butcher’s Broom plants can sometimes look less bushy until they’re established, but with the right care they usually thrive and develop the attractive foliage and berries customers expect. “My goodness what a beautiful specimen my Acer Bloodgood is. Perfect and bush and very healthy. It’s majestic . I absolutely adore it. “I'd like to express my thanks for the beautiful 'myrtus communis' shrub you sent recently. Well-established and larger than I expected, the shrub was well-packaged and arrived undamaged, healthy and robust. I had pre-ordered this shrub, intended as a gift to replace a much-loved myrtle that had met an untimely end in bizarre circumstances, and was pleased to receive several 'updates' keeping me informed as to the status of the order. I really was quite delighted when it finally arrived. The friend for whom the plant was intended was equally impressed. Thank you, Paramount. “We were going to the Gardening Club at Enfield and saw this on the same road. We popped in out of curiosity and I think I’ve found my favourite garden centre. Absolutely mesmerised by the stock on display. Just wish I had a bigger garden and bank account. Although the prices are perfectly reasonable, especially with the discount offer. We bought 2 pleached cherry laurels and a Pleached Feijoa Sellowiana Tree. Wish we had got another laurel though. May have to go back despite the hour and half drive from home. Delivery was within 5 days and all planted up by the 6th”

“We bought 5 pleached trees from Paramount and then a further 2 as we had under estimated what we would need. The representative that delivered the second time was super helpful explaining the best way to support the trees and how to maintain them as they begin to develop (putting bone meal around the roots, tieing in growing branches and cutting off any blossom to increase the trees vigour). 4 weeks later and all 7 are really putting on loads of new growth so we couldn't be happier.”

“The trees were in good condition when they arrived and the driver brought them in to the garden for us. The Pleached trees look really good in just over the top of the fence. The only small issue I have is that one tree is showing lots of new growth whereas the other two are not prodcing as much new growth. Hopefully they will start soon.”

“Arrived in fantastic condition, had to wait around a week, but it seems to have been well cared for. The only point to note was that the pot and soil was bagged up properly so there was quite a lot of loose soil when it arrived.”
