Tree looks fine but delivery wasn't very helpful. Dropped the tree outside the house with broken branches and left. It was really heavy and hard to move it to the garden.

This was our 2nd order from Paramount Plants and we were very disappointed. The plants that arrive were tiny and looked I'll, the bay tree we paid 150 for was hardly in the shape of a lollipop more like a a thin oval. Delivery also took ages with little In the way of communication or updates. When you've spent alot of money with them you would ex0ect much better.

I'd seen an advert for paramount plants on Instagram. They had exactly what we needed, large pleached trees for screening our neighbours windows. We needed 6, and initially looked at cherry laurels but they were about £3,000 - so we opted for Red Photinia at just under £1,600. We don't have a lot of money so I saved for a year and finally brought them. Charlie on the sales team was particularly helpful and a very nice person. Trees arrived, and we got to work planting them straight away. We know nothing about plants, and don't even have any in the house so was expecting some sort of instruction or aftercare on how to best get them growing well. There was nothing, and 5 weeks in we started to notice the trees going really red, we thought that was normal as they are called 'Red Photinia' - then they started to get droopy, so i asked for help and Karolina told me to dig them up, add some drainage into the ground by putting stone in and some top soil, so i did that, yet 2 weeks after that they are all brown and the stems black. I contacted Paramount plants again, which my email read: "Good afternoon all, Just wanted to update on my paramount plants purchase - Pleached Red Photinia. We brought 6 of them just 8 weeks ago (costing over £1,500) and now they are dead. it took us over a year to save and you can see from the photo/video attached that they're completely dead.. Is there anything that can be done to help sort these out, or can replacements be sent? I don't feel like there was enough guidance about caring for them, and being non-gardeners ourselves (we don't have one real plant in the property) we did what we thought we should, by watering them, and now are absolutely devastated to see them shrivel up and die. Thanks" the reply from Karolina at Paramount was simply: "For bigger files we would advise on using wetransfer. This way we can get easy access larger size files Kind Regards Karolina " The most arrogant reply, not even acknowledging my concern or issue with the trees. So there you have it. They're happy to take you money but not happy to help on such an expensive purchase. I'm going to contact consumer rights now for further advice.

Despite 2 months notice of a requested delivery date for an important birthday, the plant didn't arrive until the following week with absolutely zero communication.

From purchase to delivery the tree took some time to arrive. Arrived very dry with most (60%) of branches dried out and dead. It will survive but not really the condition a plant should arrive in!

We have ordered an American Gum Tree from Paramount Plants. The delivery was on time without any problems. The tree was properly wrapped so we were surprised when after uncovering the 'crown' of the tree saw that the leaves aren't looking healthy. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of the planting the leaves still not looking good. We just hope that it will be better.

Hi Karen, I apologise for not replying to your request at an earlier date BUT I have been observing the selection of Bamboos that I have purchased from you and your company. I have the following observations to make reference the order. 1.For the past weeks since the arrival of the Bamboos have arrived safely at my residence I have indeed been watering and feeding them,in particular the "Golden Bamboo" which was in a terrible state and is now only now showing signs of a very slow recovery.This bamboo arrived looking dead very very dry and was not healthy at all; when depotted to plant out in the garden we found a very large ants nest had infested the pot and literally taken over the Bamboo and the pot.The Bamboo was bone dry although copious amounts of water had been applied since the arrival of said plant.In fact I was shocked at the the quality of each Bamboo by the fact that they were all extremely dry despite considerable watering by me..This in turn made it difficult to remove each Bamboo from its pot and in fact some of the pots had to be cut off. I strongly advise that all plants should be watered before despatched and the quality checked.Also I suggest that each Bamboo be labelled as a "Clumper" or a runner/spreader depending on the type/variety.This in turn will assist the end user as to how much Bamboo barrier material to purchase. I appreciate I bought a sale item, but was expecting more of a tree which I deemed to be expensive especially after the delivery charge was added. The tree is planted and I hope one day it will be close to the images shown on yours and others’ websites. I fear that could take many years.

Waiting longer then normal and deliver very low quality plant kiwi and paciflora was completely different plants from the pictures. One of hedera ( yvi) was nearly 1m I paid £100 paund for 2m at least . Communication is very poor level ( no one tell you what happened with your order)

Only 1 arrived when I had ordered 5. And the driver knew nothing about the order anyway- he didn’t even have a copy of the order to check. The driver also came off our long track driveway and damaged the ground. I am not a happy customer

Unfortunately the shape of this shrub was very poor with half of the branches were only a few feet high when I paid for a tall specimen. I will have to prune all branches back to the shorter height therefore not benefiting from having bought a larger shrub. Such a a shame.

Should have been happy but unfortunately the conifers were too tall for their shipping boxes resulting in one being broken. This will never grow back and result in one conifer no longer being pointed at the top. Paramount Plants need to put in more care and attention when shipping their products, they're not exactly cheap.

Really disappointed with this Acer. The main stem/ trunk is crooked. Not a fault that will grow out, so I will always have a cooked tree, not what I wanted at all!
