“Choice and quality of plants is good as well the associated support/communication. The area to watch is costs but I haven't done a detailed study of the competition.”

Just to mention, many of our plants are more mature, with a larger range of bigger sizes and these do take longer to grow. We are very competitively priced for this quality and size of stocks. “Very helpful throughout and I was equally pleased with my magnolia plant when it arrived. It is obvious that a lot of expertise and care went into growing it, which I can't say is always true of buying plants in a local garden centre. The root ball for instance was impressive. Paramount will be my first choice next time. Thank you!”

“From start to finish service was excellent excellent. Delivery driver called to confirm the exact time of arrival (within one hour slot). Trees are of great quality. Absolutely no negatives at all. Well done paramount plants. Thank you. We will definitely use again in the future 😀”

“I ordered my favourite hydrageas from different two companies, small pots from another company first and then hydrangea standards from Paramount. The former arrived leaves looking healthy and hydrated. The paramount standards I wasnt happy with and if the delivery driver had let me leave them on his truck I would have done. Although the soil felt hydrated upon arrival, I believe they hadnt been kept well hydrated prior to transport as the leaves were all partly brown which seasonally shouldnt have been the case. All the hydrageas in the garden centre plus the other lot from the other company were green and lush. However I watered the standards daily and have planted them out after decided not to send them back. Two have signs of bud and I am hoping to see sign of the third too. Crossing everything that next year they will be happier and healthier.”

Thanks for your feedback Katrina - as per email below on 21st September 2019 from our Customer Services we haven't had any further communication from you but we are pleased you will keep these plants monitored and of course if you have any issues next May when they start to refoliate please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind regards Karen Thank you for your feedback and we are very sorry you were not 100% happy with your purchase of Hydrangeas. We do suggest in our delivery email that issues are referred to us at the time of delivery so we can immediately address any concerns and view photos of the plants if you are not happy. If you had advised us at that time in August we would of course have collected the plants if they were unsatisfactory to you. The delivery was by courier to you so they are not always able to load back immediately but our deliveries team would have arranged a collection if we were alerted to the issue. We always want our customers to be 100% satisfied with their plants. We strongly recommend that all plants are watered on delivery which would in most cases immediately recover the plants. I am pleased you have done this. If you email photos to us now we are happy to give you are advice. Prior to dispatch all plants are kept on a strict watering regime on irrigation drips but plants can dry out in transit in warm conditions and hydrangeas are more sensitive. We are pleased you will keep these monitored and of course if you have any issues next May when they start to refoliate please do not hesitate to contact us. We are a well established family business with over 25 years of supplying mature specimens so we are here to assist with any concerns you may have. Thanks Lucas

“I have ordered many plants from you and most are hardy and still looking healthy and good. Two disappointments were the red Ragu Rose which flowered beautifully and then developed a problem..with bugs and died completely. the Eucalyptus looked so lovely but i may not have watered enough at first and then it was too late and the tree died. Your delivery prices can be a lot of extra money to find...but most of your plants are doing well.”

“I recently purchased on two separate occasions, 2 Taxus baccata 'fastidiata' and 6 common ivy's. Pre purchase advice over the phone was both helpful and friendly and communication about delivery clear and accurate. It's a bit of worry purchasing plants sight unseen but I am delighted with their quality. I don't hesitate to recommend Paramount Plants and look forward to using them to complete the planting in my re-designed garden.”

“We ordered a 100cm Jasminum Humile Revolutum and a 50-60cm Passiflora Constance Elliot. The order/delivery experience was fine. The jasmine is doing fine so far but the passiflora died after a couple of weeks, despite being planted in a sunny sheltered location against a fence, with plenty of compost, and where we already have another passiflora thriving.”

“I have used Paramount Plants twice to buy large Palm Trees and large Evergreen screening trees which were all at a very good price. Delivery was very good kept in touch when specimens would arrive . Excellent service as we live near Oxford!! Very pleased with what we have received and are thriving”
