“When we moved to our current location 2 years ago we inherited a mature Arbutus tree, but it wasn't looking healthy and sadly it eventually died. We have replaced it with a small Arbutus Unedo tree from Paramount Plants which looks very healthy and we look forward to seeing it grow in size.”

“We have now taken delivery of several plants from Paramount - we consider them to be good value for money and have had no failures. Each one takes some months to get over the transplanting but they each settle down and perform well. The latest is a mature hibiscus which is in leaf and we hope for flowers later in the summer.”

“Charlie was extremely helpful via email. He answered all of my questions and was very prompt with his replies. I would of preferred to of been able to visit Paramount Plants in person especially as all the other garden centres were open but this wasn't possible. Other than that I would highly recommend them. Thank you”

“The Sales team and the Stock team were very responsive to my e-mails and were very helpful. The experience of Paramount to this point was good. However the Distribution was poor. The trees were only put in the large pots the days before delivery so the soil was loose and unconsolidated so not sure what the point was other than to make them look bigger and therefore justify the cost ?? The delivery lorry did not have a hydraulic tailgate or crane so the only way to get them off the lorry was to roll them off the side from 4ft+ high so they hit the ground hard and all the unconsolidated soil in the pots fell out. Not a good experience at all. The pictures of the trees that I was sent did not look anything like the trees that were delivered either so a not a good surprise there ! The trees were planted by RHS accredited gardeners so I only hope the trees do well !”

“We were very impressed by our tree fern, although the delivery driver described it as a log, and treated it as such (ie without much care). It is now in our garden, planted, and getting watered a lot.”

“My two Pingwu bamboo plants been delivered heathy and on time and have settled into their well prepped roomy home with loads of manure and drainage etc as per on-line guidance. The plants delivered are tiny and under 12 inches in height: I anticipated taller plants for the £53 per plant cost (normally £70 per plant however Paramount were offering a discount at the point of purchase). The small size of the plant might be due to my expectations of a larger plant in relation to the cost. If they have a good growth spurt his summer I will not be disappointed. However on balance at this time I would recommend and would buy from Paramount again.”

“Very happy with the quality of the plant & the packaging was good. The problem you have, as a business selling online, is the delivery time & lack of communication from the parcel company. Amazon have totally transformed consumers expectations. Whilst i appreciate not every business has this power & infrastructure available to them, nearly all businesses are getting the product to your doorstep within 2-4 days with excellent updates along the way. It took you guys 3.5weeks (acknowledge Easter & upfront notice given) with no updates via email or text from the courier. The plant was a day late but there was no communication to advise of this. I'd imagine until this aspect of your online proposition is brought up to speed you'll struggle in obtaining repeat purchases.”
