“I visited the shop, everyone was so helpful and willing to spend the time suggesting different shoes to try. Decided to buy a pair of Brookes that they had in their online shop. Ordering was straightforward and my shoes arrived a few days later. Great service and I am really pleased with my purchase, thank you.”

“Had no interaction with the physical shop or staff, and was directed to their website by the website of the manufacturer of the shoes I bought (Altra), so all I can really say is the price was good and the delivery was quick, plus the returns policy (which I didn't need) is clear and reasonable.”

“Ordered new gaviota 5,arrived promptly, also rang up before for some advice as I have wide feet and told me toebox was a bit wider than previous model, spot on, fit superb, thank you Northern runner for great service, wouldn't go anywhere else”

“great place to get decent wide running shoes at a good price. Bought two different pairs of shoes, both arrived within a few days, well packaged. Good communication throughout, notified of delivery by email and text, delivered on time. No hesitation is recommending this site. Will buy from them again.”

“Very good for running shoes. I wear foot shaped zero drop trainers (Altra, Topo). Northern Runner have a good selection, with usually a few models in the sale. When I ordered online, the deliveries came quickly. Once I returned a pair. Staff applied the refund on the day they received the parcel. Two weeks ago, while I was passing through Newcastle, I went into the shop. That way I could try a few models. Staff gave me handy advice. Thanks Chris.”

“Items arrived quickly and packaged well. Only gripe I would have is having to pay for return postage as I'd ordered a couple of pairs for size, however to get the shoes I wanted at a good price it wasn't too big of a deal.”
