“I ordered a pair of La Sportiva Bushido III shoes in wide, which I unfortunately discovered did not fit correctly after my first short outing. This is a common problem among outdoor enthusiasts who are forced to buy online, and has indeed happened to me before (Ultralight Outdoor Gear / Achilles Heel). Both companies listed have taken the shoes back and offered me alternate solutions, usually at my cost - rightly so, as after all it was me that ordered the wrong size, no error on there part. This is what separates those companies from Northern Runner. When I contacted Northern Runner to explain my predicament, the email response I received from "Chris" was disappointing. One line stating "if the shoes have been worn, we can't help you". This is an interesting approach towards customer service. Perhaps they should look to the other companies I have mentioned, who are fellow enthusiasts and understand the difficulties their customers face and are prepared to meet in the middle so the customer is left satisfied. Needless to say Northern Runner will not be receiving my custom in the future if that's how they treat their customers. They appear to care only about making money, not customer service or aiding the outdoor community.”

“I ordered a pair of Hoka Clifton 11 wide fit trainers. It's not always easy to find wide fit in my size and northern runner were one of the few places I found. The price was good too, and added bonus! Delivery was prompt and I am very happy with my purchase. Would definitely buy from them again.”

“It was really difficult to find the shoes I wanted, in the size and fit variant that I needed which was available here! The cherry on top was the colour being a delight, not having to be stuck with boring blacks and grays for a wide fit shoe seems like a privelege! I chose the postal delivery since there was no rush but it took longer than specified. I've been using the shoe for about a month now, been fantastic so far!”
