As a tradesman this is possibly the worst site out there. They basically sell you a phone number. No body will ever answer the number and they will justify selling you the number because it rings! They’ve probably got 700 phones in their office that just ring and every time they ring they must be laughing their heads off

Tradespeople beware! Tradesmen be careful!!!!! !!!!stay away!!!!! I was registered with them as an electrician, until today when I had the last dispute with them because of cald leads. When trying contact the costumer there is No customer to give quote no response on 10 phone calls no reply on texts or emails, When trying to request back money Stewart lying and saying that they were able to contact costumer, when that nonsense doesn't go through, suddenly is new excuse "terms and conditions" etc from Stewart just not to refund and even if you manage to get a "refund" from them they'll give it to you as credit on their platform and not money in your bank account. Its just showing what sort of business they're running.

those mtfs disabled my account but they still get my direct debit money.now i can't use my account with 130+ credits and they not even answer to my quarries! one day will pay for this,at least one of them... i hope they'll die of cancer if not worse

I am a trades person I got in touch with my job quote. To let them know I had leukaemia. And I would not be able to work anymore this was the beginning of march I had 250 credits. They said they would refund money back into my account still waiting they will not reply to my emails asking for someone to ring me . I have spoken to a lot of my customers. And they have said they will never use them again .there will be further reviews from some customers they are discussed with them .trading standards on monday

Wished I could give this site no stars! I am sure its a great site for people who do actually want work but for the tradesmen, this site is a total con!! Each lead costs on average £8 with a minimum of 1 in 3 chance of winning the job. Some customers do not even have the decency to respond and this lousy site does not care. They only give you 48 hours to register the complaint but how should you give a customer the chance to reply????!!!!

I’ve sent now 2 messages ! About client that don’t exist !!! You pay for the lead you can't reach because they don’t want And some bright spark in the office says you have 48 to make the response about the lead . Yes I would really like to talk as your support is as bad as the people that don’t even make any attempted to call , support is ! Try to help ? Sorry it’s passed 48 hrs . I can't believe how this your support .

As Tradesmen don't waste your time and money, I suspect that about 90% jobs are fake, customers do not answer emailss, text, phone or the phone number does not work at all... .

One trades person came -the job was replace 2.5m of guttering on a 3 storey house. The trades person quoted £4000. I said no. I tried to update the job and found that the value quoted was stuck at £210 and not the £4000 actually quoted. (so now its unlikely another person would now quote). I set the job to doing it myself on their website. I would rather have all my details on the site removed as per the data protection act but there seems to be no way of doing this

DO NOT USE!!! Worst job sourcing platform for tradesman by a mile. The entire database is flooded with dead jobs. My Job Quote are completely aware of all the dead jobs circulating the website, however they have little to no interest in removing or policing these jobs since tradesman will burn through their credits quicker and have to purchase more.... Stick with My Builder, because these guys are cowboys.

Terrible Homeowner customer service in relation to a very simple question about data passed to trades. The website says trades will contact per your preferred method (in my case text message) however this was not what happened - I received phonecalls in one case a very harassing, bullying phone call by one tradesperson, who then proceeded to send me an abusive text message. I was concerned for my personal safety and wanted to confirm whether my address had been provided to the trades who expressed interest. I have received no response to this query (posted 3 days ago), although customer service did "respond" without addressing my question - twice! - by message and phone call. They were only interested in whether the job was still open (it wasn't I closed it, but somehow they could not tell?) and failed to even acknowledge my questions and concerns, and hung up on me when I expressed my dissatisfaction in how they were handling my case. This business only seems interested in whether they can profit and not at all concerned over data protection or safety issues. Avoid like the plague.

I hired a company TRH Plumbing and Heating to refit my bathroom, l paid half the money upfront,and l paid the last payment however he still had to install the toilet because it was too big so l exchanged it and he said that he would come and fit it, and he also said he couldn't finish the corners of the tiling because he said it's not his forte!!! I am calling him but he has blocked my number l now need to find someone else and have to pay again. Steer Clear of this company!!

I searched on line for a reputable trade to install a new shower tray and shower valve all materials needed were supplied. My Quote stood out as I had previously received advertising emails from them saying if any work needed they could supply names of contractors, I received details of a guy trading as Midland Maintenance. Biggest mistake of my life, the original Quote doubled from just over £500 to just over £1000! installation was substandard,he supplied someone who really hadn't a clue hence poor workman ship, quite a number of fittings supplied with shower tray and valve weren't fitted, shower valve isn't straight , shower tray leaked along with poorly fitted shower drain ,My Quote response was contact the guy for rectification, l had already had the guy back once to fix other fault. He was rude, not really interested , I told My Quote I didn't want the guy back because he obviously didn't have the skill required.so I now have to either fix problems myself or find some other plumber to do it for me. I have since found reviews on other site where this so called trade flooded a kitchen after fitting a new sink causing £500 worth of Damage. Advise find your own trade these sites offering to find suitable trades will not or cannot help should you get a cowboy who I believe is called Darren Gooch.

All trades avoid. They charge you for uncontactable customers with invalid emails and numbers and still charge you despite sending in evidence. A number of customers are past customers who have already had the works done previously and the job readvertised despite this. Please feel free to message for evidence or further info.

*** Do not trust any of these tradespeople*** I placed my job to replace my garage roof on myjobquote.co.uk. I saw they have a complaint system and so was confident their tradespeople would be trustworthy. I accepted the quote and the job was done and paid for by bank transfer. The next time it rained the roof leaked worse than before the work was done. I tried to contact the tradesmen who had done the job and they have ignored my calls and messages. I have contacted myjobquote and sent all of the information, as per their complaints page, initially advised they would suspend the tradespersons account if they had not heard from them. I have now been told because this is their 1st complaint they can still quote for jobs! Ignore their complaints page it's false. They don't do anything about it and even quoted "we cannot control how he chooses to run his business". And hide behind the title 'lead generation service'.

We were very pleased with Matthew (gardener)when he came at short notice to sort out our garden. However he is not reliable and has not turned up an several occassions Including twice this week. We would not use him again and would not recommend him. He trades as Matthew Castle gardener from Emsworth.

I've been a professional with MyJobQuote for three years, and spent hundreds with them purchasing their £7 - £15 paid leads (which they advertise as "free" to the public). I recently asked them to refund a non- responsive lead, and they firmly refused as it was out of their "24 hour window".. unlike Bark.com, who will at least sometimes refund leads that won't answer your calls or return your texts, (as 24 hours isn't very long for many people who work to reply) I said, OK, that's a shame as I'm quite busy at work and looking to purchase credit packs on my main websites i use (MyJobQuote.co.uk and Bark.com) and am hesitant due to the inflexibility of your refund policy (which i rarely ask for), but it's your choice. No response. A few days later, I went to purchase a (£12.60) lead and saw that my credit balance had gone from 57, down to 10! (I paid for 51, and 6 were for credits from replies to questions on their site, only answered a week ago.) I got in touch, and they asked me to confirm how many were lost and they would "look into it." No reply. A few days later I go to purchase a (£7.40) lead with what i thought i had left - and now my credit balance is down to 3! I emailed their support about this further issue, who still hadn't replied to the previous message from 4 days ago yesterday, and I'm still waiting to hear back from them. No telephone number, and clearly not replying to emails 24/7, unlike Bark.. a lot of my bidding happens at the weekend! It's unfortunate, as the leads have been decent when you can find them, but the customer service and support to the tradesmen who pay their wages really let's them down - and frankly, other sites have a much higher volume of potential leads and a (slightly) more transparent bidding structure. UPDATE - They are adamant that they won't refund the credits I paid for, or the free credits I earned for answering their questions - apparently, credits (even purchased) expire after 6 months! Unfortunately, I was out of the country for a number of months due to a grievance and sorting their affairs, so I didn't have a chance to use up all of them before I left - they didn't care. They also sign emails anonymously, and won't confirm multiple name requests (a little creepy, considering the person(s) I'm speaking to know all my details..) If I treated my clients this way, I'd have no business! Shocking customer service.
