“Bought a car online via Evolution Funding. Car broke down 2 days after leaving the showroom. I returned the car and opted to reject the goods and the finance which was well within the 14 days cooling off period. Evolution never helped, they simply passed the problem and said it’s not their problem. By the way I still don’t have the car, the dealer is apparently still fixing it, it’s been 36 days now. I say apparently because there has been zero communication from anyone. I will never use Evolution Funding, friendly at the start but terrible after sales service. I hope no one else got out like I did”

Dear Mthandeki, thank you for leaving us your feedback. We take all complaints seriously and so have investigated this matter thoroughly, including listening to call recordings. We have been able to establish that given the circumstances, you have been advised correctly to contact your lender and open a complaint with them. As your finance agreement is with them and not with us as the broker, we are unable to assist with any issues that may arise once the agreement has been completed. “If you request the funds to be sent on a particular day I would phone and make sure this is being done on the day as mine was processed 24 hours late so I had to keep chasing on the day of my car pick up to get the funds through quickly. Luckily they were very supportive and quick in doing this to make up for their error.”

“I first spoke to Carl who was very helpful and professional, he took all my details and said someone would call me once they had sourced the finance. Danny called me back and gave me all the information clearly and repeated things when I asked him to. Danny answered all my questions and was quick to return my calls and helped me all the way through. I would recommend him and the company to friends and family in the future.”
