“Great service. When I had problems in getting cover due to IT not working they rang me twice to ensure that I got the cover sorted. No pressure but good old customer service snd I was able to talk to a human. Will use again.”

“I needed a policy that would compliment the basic policy provided by the rental company we'll be using in August when we embark on a 4 week road trip in the US. I typed in my requirements and within seconds there were 5 or 6 quotes, all easy to compare and all at very reasonable prices. The policy i settled on covered, tyres, windscreen, wrong fuel, being locked out, theft, enhanced CDW cover and SLI which gives me $1,000,000 cover. Easy to use website, clear outline of what your buying, reasonable pricing, what's not to like. Hopefully i won't need to use the policy, but it offers peace of mind. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“Your search is not suitable for mini vans upto 9. You present options but none of the options are suitable. Their policy exclude category of vans altogether. I used AI to test at least 10 providers and all of them not suitable. Either remove that category or get your act together. You are playing with people’s money.”

Hi Muhammad, Thanks for your feedback. We work closely with excess insurers to ensure that the policies we display in the results will cover the vehicle type described. We certainly do have policies that will cover 9 seater vehicles such as a people carrier or a minivan. These can be found by using the 'Cars and Minivans up to 9 seats' option when running your quote. It is possible there was a confusion on AI between a mini van carrying passengers and a standard van which may be used to transport larger items. Standard vans would be covered under a different type of policy and there are fewer providers of these. Kind regards, Team MoneyMaxim

“When getting a quote for annual car hire excess insurance, it was unclear how to allow for an additional driver alongside the Lead Driver when hiring a car. There was an option to have the policy cover an additional Lead Driver - which would have had to apply to separate periods of car hire, since there can only be one Lead Driver when hiring a car.”
