The peace of mind this type of policy provides and that fact you can buy from a site a European Car Hire Excess Insurance Policy for less than £2 a day, I too would never drive a Car Hire without one !!! Alvise Pellegrini Thank you for your feedback, really appreciated. I'm delighted to say, on the top left hand side of the results page for Car Hire Excess Insurance, there is a filter button. This give you the opportunity to select additional features and then provides the policies that do includes these. Also, again, on the results page, you can also choose 3 polices at time, which compare all the features line by line. I do very much hope that when you next run your Comparisons for your Car Hire Excess, by using these filters, this should then help you further to tailor your policy for your specific requirements. “I wanted to secure our car hire insurance excess,in the uk ahead of our upcoming car hire in Tenerife,Moneymaximiser offerred wide choice of insurers who offerred value for money cover to avoid 'overcharge' by car hire company.I hope the policy is not needed for a claim.”

“What can I say other than we paid £9 for separate car insurance using you guys compared to £53 offered by the car hire company! Thankfully no need to call on the insurance so I have no idea how good you are in terms of handling a claim but just in price and ease of booking alone, this was all extremely good.”

We do have a relatively new compare feature on the car hire insurance results page of our site now, where you can compare up to 3 policies at any one time - When you do so, it displays your results in a table format where you can see which policy covers the specific areas you wish to cover, and to what value.
