The peace of mind this type of policy provides and that fact you can buy from a site a European Car Hire Excess Insurance Policy for less than £2 a day, I too would never drive a Car Hire without one !!! Alvise Pellegrini Thank you for your feedback, really appreciated. I'm delighted to say, on the top left hand side of the results page for Car Hire Excess Insurance, there is a filter button. This give you the opportunity to select additional features and then provides the policies that do includes these. Also, again, on the results page, you can also choose 3 polices at time, which compare all the features line by line. “I wanted to secure our car hire insurance excess,in the uk ahead of our upcoming car hire in Tenerife,Moneymaximiser offerred wide choice of insurers who offerred value for money cover to avoid 'overcharge' by car hire company.I hope the policy is not needed for a claim.”
